Scepter- I have no clue what you're talking about. sweatdrop

Mississippi summers are fun. Can't say it gets as hot as California but it is nice and humid . . . well REALLY humid. Japan is known for being really humid and where I live . . . it's worse here. Mmmm humidity. Personally when I went to San Jose this past summer I thought that was an awesome summer. It was like fall temperatures here. Oh god it was so nice. whee But the reason why it doesn't get up to into the 115-120's here in the summer is because I'm on the Gulf and we have the nice gulf breezes and stuff so nautrally it doesn't get up into those temperatures.
whee that makes me miss Panama soooo much!

::squees happily:: Does everyone remember the scenes from Jurassic Park where they'd show the lush green hills and cliffs of the La Sorna islands?

a few years ago my grandfather took my family to the tropica paradise we call out native land, Panama, and we spend a night at an unbelievable resort that had a vista JUST like that.::sighs reminsicently:: i spend most of the afternoon staring off the balcony, waiting for teradactls(sp?) to spring forth.

xd but that whole mental revisit was bought on by the rememberance that the whole week i was in the country, it was soooo humid that it just gave everything this wonderful brilliant yet dreamlike glow. and the air was so fragrant! if you went out at the right time just before dusk, you could breathe in a lungful of air, and feel like you were drowning in wonderfully scented water. redface whee ::wants to go back::

30 degrees? I wonder if it ever gets that cold here...I don't really remember anything below, like, the 40's. As far as I know, our general winter temperatures are in the 50's and 60's....but I can't be positive as I don't watch the weather news and I live in a controlled temperature environment. sweatdrop

Saw...I haven't actually heard all that much about that movie. I wonder why? xp

I think it wasn't terribly advertised. Very, very creepy.

I got my acceptance letter from the Savannah College of Art and Design today and they also called saying they were putting my portfolio up for scholarship review. I also got a $5,000 art scholarship from a local college, William Carey. My dad and I went to celebrate at Waffle House. 3nodding

Hey right on Masq! xd

You guys and your warm winters. My winters are like, -20. Today it was +7 and we're like "YEAH! Shorts weather!" except I don't wear shorts. But I didn't wear my jacket! Yeah! Except for our 60kph wind scream

...Alberta weather sucks. Actually, Canadian weather in general sucks.

Of the topic of weather, did anyone (I'm thinking of Powerfull in mind) watch the tribute to the Mounties that was on today? Living in Edmonton, the memorial was held here today, and I dunno... it's pretty powerful stuff. I feel miserable.
I didn't see it but our school's had their flag raised half mast ever since the incident. sweatdrop I feel shitty cause because I had no idea what happened so I asked why they put the flag like that.

Pteradactyl. I think...

That sounds beautiful. I want to go.... 3nodding

I hate hot weather, I prefer the cold. Luckily I'm Canadan. XD
Nova Scotia weather is never too bad except when we get the heavy winds off the Ocean...
