Yes, what is it about?
I don't really like the commercialized Santa. Cliche much? Plus, by our religion teacher's definition he's a child molester.
Eoin Colfer had it right, man. Santa Clauss is actually San D'Klass, an elf king in the frond dynasty (when fairies and humans lived together on the earth) who, to assauge human greed, threw up time stops around the world and sent his fastest sprites to deliver gifts to the human children. It didn't work, but it's a nive gesture.
I do like the idea of Christmas. But the whole gift thing...but who am I to talk? *shrug* I'm hardly an important member of society/humanity.
CHI OMG WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE YOUR FREAKING CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!!!!

Well there are a few types of Natale, the Italian Christmas.
The Santa Claus Tradtion is acutally becoming more popular, and is called Babbo Natale, or literally Father Christmas.
This is more similar to the stories I was told growing up, But I do acknowledge Santa Claus.
On Christmas Eve, Italians celebrate "La Vigilia", or the Feast of the seven fishes. Then, presents are brought on Epiphany by(is a festival celebrated throughout a couple of weeks and January 6 is the actual day of Epiphany - Which we celebrate the American Way on Christmas Eve.) La Befana.
La Befana is a character of Italian folklore, very similar to Santa Claus. She is usually portrayed as an old lady riding a broomstick through the air wearing a black shawl and is covered in soot because she enters the children's houses through the chimney. She is often smiling and she has a bag or a hamper filled with candy and/or gifts. She visits all the children on the night before Epiphany leaving gifts, while another character, an old man (his name escapes me at the moment) comes and fills the stocking. If you were bad you recieved a stick in your stocking, which signified you were bad, and your parents should beat you. The more stick.. More beatings.. (but that was old old tradition. It changed into only La Befana, and lumps of coal since she climbed through the chimneys.)
Thats just a short..

Hi. My name is ... Lynn. I like horses and coca cola, and good writing (which includes good fanfiction). I do not like .... stupid people. I'm 19 years old and a high school graduate, going to college to become a veterinarian. I hate school. I like learning. I live somewhere in Tennessee.
Nice to meet you all and look forward to writing with you! (Also, am looking for a good beta reader. Willing to beta other people's work too.)
