※Fifth Year※Hufflepuff※Chaser※Prefect※ In the Stands: Dhyl watched the game, still a nervous wreck. The instant it was over, he darted from the stands and down the stairs. So much for snuggling Ariana.
On the Pitch: Dhyl trudged through the mud, stopping only to blink at the Seeker covered in mud chasing after Remy. Well... that was weird. He also noticed the fragments of wood. Whose broom had broken? He cocked an eyebrow, then continued his trek to his little sister. He scooped her carefully into his arms, then looked at Dominic with a glare. He turned and headed out of the Pitch, Minn curled up in his arms protectively. That was his little sister, dammit! No one was going to help her but him!

How hard is it to follow orders? Ronna was by far not an expert on Quidditch but as she watched her team play she realized that the beaters were idiots. They may be better players than her but they weren't smarter than her, apparently. She had been sitting on the edge of the pitch the whole game watching in the pouring rain, watching as BOTH beaters again and again didn't follow Remy's orders of aiming for the Slytherin Seeker. Even, Ronna knew the seeker was the most important person on the team: he or she won all the points. They didn't even try. Well, at least Sun protected their seeker. She sighed pulling down her cloak's hood soaking her french braid and snapped both at Sun and Keith walking up to them, "Did she give you different orders or something? Because she said if I got called in again I was supposed to be aiming at..." She took a deep breath. "Well maybe Gryffindor will have better luck next year. I at least have the advantage of saying that as a first year. I mean you guys are definitely better than me but I would have listened to our captain." Taking a deep breath she turned and said, "Sorry. I'm not in the position to lecture anyone, anyways..."Location: Quidditch Pitch A [Wearing: Quidditch Team Outfit] { } Position: Reserve Beater

Keith rolled his eyes as Ronna came up chewing him out for not listening to Remy's so called orders. He had decided from the beginning when Remy told them the situation that she was creating. "No, Ronna. I got the same 'orders' as you. But I do not listen to threats. Nor should a team captain be giving threats to her players. She was not acting like a captain." Keith said as he walked, not hesitating, not changing pace. In fact everything about the boy showed his determination and belief in the words he spoke. "Besides." he said finally stopping and looking at the First year. "In a real match, you have to follow your instincts, not just orders." and with that the boy strolled off. His broom over his shoulder. He knew Remy would chew him out. But he had a few choice words for her as well. Sun ☼ Henrick________ _______________________ ____________ Gryffindor || Fourth Year || Beater ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ Well, Gryffindor had lost. And the parade of loses continues for the house, but there will always be a next year. Sun sighed. The game had gone by in a flash before he even knew it.
Listening apathetically as the first year... chastised Keith and him, Sun simply shrugged. "So in other words, you feel as if you're more worthy than us to be a beater on the sole reason that you will follow a captain's orders? And then retracting all that you said with a simple, 'I'm not in the position to lecture anyone' when you just snapped at us doesn't make you any less of a self-centered jerk." Sun should probably stop talking by now. Eh, like he cared. "When you're the reason someone is laying in the hospital bed, bruised, bleeding, and in pain, maybe you'll feel a tiny hesitation towards aiming that bludger at a kid too."
With that said, Sun walked away.

How hard is it to follow orders? Ronna was about to answer Keith to tell him that following orders was just as important if not as more important as following your gut. Also, she wanted to agree that Remy was a bit wrong to threaten the beaters like she did-and it didn't do any good, anyways. However, suddenly Sun answered and Ronna's blue eyes widened. "I never said I was more worthy of a beater and it is laughable to think I am," Ronna snapped at Sun's back, "And if you are so afraid of aiming a bludger at someone why did you join the team anyways? Beaters are the ones closest to the bludgers so likely to get hurt and hurt others. Great power. Great responsibility."She looked at the ground and called out to Sun, "You did a good job at protecting our seeker, though. It was Keith who seemed to completely not think about seekers!"Location: Quidditch Pitch A [Wearing: Quidditch Team Outfit] { } Position: Reserve Beater

After colliding with Remy, Amanda didn't stand a chance at catching the quaffle before anyone else did, so she waited until either Eretria or Elli obtained it. Once the Slytherin caught it, the captain grinned and flew near her. If the girl wanted to pass, Amanda would be ready. A snicker escaped the sixteen year old's throat when the Gryffindor captain missed a steal against Eretria. However, the blonde's lips formed a thin line when Remy did manage to steal. Ugh, Bleiddiaid, she thought, flying after the girl although she didn't have to, for Eretria got the ball back. Amanda stayed near her teammates as the quaffle was passed to Edajin. C'mon, you've got this! the captain thought as she waited to see if the ball would go through the goalposts. The Gryffindor keeper seemed to be distracted by pain, so hopefully, she would miss. However, the girl caught it! A second year actually saved the goal. Ugh, alright, back to the whole chasing thing, Amanda thought, letting out a groan. There went the easy two galleons she could have made. After the quaffle was passed to Remy, Amanda followed her teammates after the Gryffindor captain. That was when she heard the whistle and crowd. Someone caught the snitch.
Immediately, blue eyes scanned the pitch for both seekers. There was only going to be one winner, and whoever caught it would put their team in third place while the other team would be in dead last. Upon seeing Jaslyn holding the tiny orb, a large smile spread across the captain's face. This was the first game they won with her as captain, and it felt pretty damn good. Obviously, they deserved it. Slytherin was always a hard working team. That explained their last few years of winning the Quidditch cup. When Remy flew down to the ground, Amanda followed her. The Gryffindor captain's brown eyes stared into Amanda's blue ones for a moment. A second later, the brunette dug around in her pocket, then she pulled out three galleons. The Slytherin stuck her hand out, waiting for Remy to place the money in her hand. A bet was still a bet. No matter how upset someone had been due to a loss of a Quidditch game, a bet wasn't going to disappear just like that. Although she expected to be handed the galleons, Remy threw them into a mud puddle along with her Captain badge. "Are you kidding me?" she asked, staring down at the gold coins that were now half covered in wet dirt. Remy didn't seem to hear the blonde, for she was apparently too busy breaking her broom. Once Remy stalked off, Amanda picked up the galleons, then walked towards the castle. She decided she should get to the common room and wait for the other members of her team. There, she could tell everyone they played fantastically. Especially Jaslyn, who hadn't caught a snitch during a real game until now.

Sun ☼ Henrick________ _______________________ ____________ Gryffindor || Fourth Year || Beater ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ Of course, his dramatic exit was ruined. Hur hur. Of course nobody who listened through a rebuttal would sit there and take it.
But she was right, wasn't she? It was laughable to assume anything from words. Her attitude and sentence choices may not echo what the Gryffindor had in his mind. Implied text was just that: implied, never said. In fact, the implications may not exist at all, because it was all a figment of imagination of the opposing party.
Get hurt and hurt others, Sun repeated in his mind. That's right. Why did he join the quidditch team as a beater? His reason, he remembered, but now seemed foreign. The fourth year boy stopped in his track, bat and broom in hand. Because it was fun? Because he never truly understood the competitiveness of quidditch, how seriously other players took, no matter how many broken bones or bleeding limbs they still continued. He had realized, back during the tryouts of his second year, that he was hurting others, quite badly, in fact. At that time, his academics were bad and he didn't possess any talents. That is, except for being an exceptional beater.
But this "talent"... Didn't that mean he was only good at hurting others?
Sun didn't want that. So he quit. But now he came back. Why? To gain some sense of closure, perhaps, to see why he decided to join quidditch in the first place. But the reason was foreign, a moving vehicle that Sun had lost sight of two years ago. The broom and bat in his hand felt different than before, even though they gave him similar, if not the same experiences. Sun sighed. "Because I am a coward."

Coward? Ronna broke into a chuckle, "You're a Gryffindor. I don't think the hat puts true cowards in our house. No one-well, very few- people like hurting other people, but we've got magic, it fixes people up. Besides if someone isn't up to being hit by a bludger they shouldn't sign up for Quidditch."She shrugged, growing more serious, "You're not a coward. You are a liar, obviously, but not a coward. And you would actually be a better beater if you weren't so scared of the position you signed up for. Beaters don't just protect their teammates, even a muggleborn first year like me knows that much. They protect their teammates like you do but they also take out the enemy team."Location: Quidditch Pitch A [Wearing: Quidditch Team Outfit] { } Position: Reserve Beater

Sun ☼ Henrick________ _______________________ ____________ Gryffindor || Fourth Year || Beater ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ "The words 'courage' and 'cowardice' are subjective," Sun simply said. That's right. In the eyes of one person, an action may be judged as brave, or perhaps not, depending on the values of the viewer. All of our actions are up for interpretations. For example, if someone ventured off into a dangerous cliffside to rescue a mice, some would say that he, or she, was beyond brave. Others, on the other hand, would judge them to be stupidly reckless and that they held no value on their safety. Then, Sun must ask, what would happen if the mice, instead of just a regular field mice, it was the a member of a dying species? That would change everything.
The boy couldn't help but chuckle. "A liar, uh?" He found it odd: He never lied. Well, did he? Had he? Everything he did was because there was a voice at the front of his conscious whispering words of "can't" and "can". So what? That was his conscience, telling him that no, he can't perform charms well, that no, what he did in transfiguration was all luck. He may or may not have been lying to himself all this time. Like his conscience would give in and proclaim that it was wrong to Sun. "If I don't hit, I won't get anywhere. If I hesitate, I will get hurt. If I hit, I will win," the boy summarized. "If I hit, I will hurt." Although his body seemed to be made to play a beater's role, his mentality doesn't seem to be cut out for the job. Maybe next year, Sun would stop sulking over the past and starting moving forward: Like Ronna said, "if someone isn't up to being hit by a bludger, they shouldn't sign up for quidditch."
"See ya around," Sun said and left the pitch.

Rosemarie stepped onto the pitch, she was a mix of emotions. Determination. Hopefulness. And Sadness. It would be her last Quidditch Game at Hogwarts. And she had only been asked to join the British International. The Chaser did not want to spend her life traveling to world for sport, she wanted to settle down, have a life she could enjoy with a family. So she had turned down her father's offer. She never expected she would surrender quidditch. But after seeing how her father was rarely home for a majority of the year, she decided that the International League was not for her. But none of the British and Irish Leagues have contacted her, so it seemed she was not to play professionally. Sighing she turned to her team. "Shina, make sure to catch the snitch. It would be the best way to end my final year." she said.
