Trigramatic Tails sat down in one side of the tub, and stuck to that side. Since letting that thought slip with Tristen, he'd been pensive. He didn't want to do that again, nor did he want Blizz to suspect anything. He was young, technically. Thinking about girlfriends was something boys did when they started getting acne. Not when you still bathed with your surrogate brothers. Tristen got in as well and as soon as he got sat down well, he sank down deep into the tub. Sweet...blissful...relief... "Jeez, Tristen, are you alright?" "Uh-huuuuhhh..." He sighed out. "Just what exactly did you do to him out there, Tails?" I asked.

"I had him running, I had him almost swimming, I had him trying to climb a tree," Tails said. "I think we should let him soak for awhile."

Sure enough, the comfort of the warmth overcame Tristen to the point where he actually fell asleep as he soaked there in the tub. "You really did work him over." I said to Tails.

Tails nodded. "Yeah. He'll get used to it soon." Just to be sure the kid would be safe, he lodged his feet against Tristen's, keeping him propped up. "Too bad we don't live somewhere more fun."

Trigramatic Tails nodded. "Yeah. He'll get used to it soon." Just to be sure the kid would be safe, he lodged his feet against Tristen's, keeping him propped up. "Too bad we don't live somewhere more fun." "Well. We make do, I guess." I said. "You can blame Sub for the locale, though." I then told him, reaching over and pulling Tristen up a bit. "I wonder if Tristen is going to be able to keep this up though." I then said.

"I think he will," Tails said. "But you know he's tired when -he- falls asleep naked. I think we should just put him to bed and put him back to work when he's up."

I went over to the toilet, made sure the lid was down and sat down on it. "You think I am pushing him a bit too hard? I don't think that I am doing any more than what I done with you and Aden. I never had anyone virtually pass out in the tub like this..." I said. I sighed a bit then looked back at Tristen. "I still kind of wonder what his drive for doing this though..."

"Naw. He's a natural hybrid. Eventually, he's gonna figure out how to use some of his abilities to help with the weight until his body catches up," Tails explained. He reached for the shampoo bottle, and started to wash. "I dunno why he wanted this so suddenly, but I'm gonna support him."

I took notice that Tails went on to start washing himself. I then shook my head. "Tristen. Tristen. Wake up." I said. "You can take a nap after the bath, alright? Tristen." "Errrnnmmm..." Tristen woke up. "Seriously man. Sleeping in the bath. Really?" I asked. "But it feels sooooo goooooooood..." He said. "I know, I know." I said to him. As soon as Tails was done with the shampoo, I passed it over to Tristen. "Come on. Sooner you're done, sooner you can get to take a nap, alright?" "Okay..."

"You don't have to worry about clothes~" Tails sang. "Really. If it makes you feel better, I'll let you sleep alone."
On that note, he dunked his head to rinse off.

Tristen yawned, stopping his scrubbing a bit after he got some shampoo moments prior. "...don't care..." He managed to finish. "Are you alright Tristen?" I asked. "Feeling better?" "Uh-huh..." I then looked over towards Tails for a second, giving a shrug. "Uh...Tails?" Tristen then spoke.

Tails re-emerged and for Blizz's sake, he radiated heat to dry off rather than shake the water off. "Huh? What's up, Tristen?"

For what?" "Helping me. I'm a little sad though." he then said. "Why?" "It wasn't that long that you had me to go outside to play with Tails and already I'm in here and so tired." "Tristen, stop. Stop there. Seriously. Just. No." I said, scooting to the edge of the seat. "It's just your first day. Its never easy. Granted, I'll admit that...well...this is a first, seeing someone virtually fall asleep in the tub after a hard run, it was probably to be expected. While I am all for pushing your limits, it has to be taken slow. Its not going to happen all at once. It takes time." I took off my vest. "You see this? This on its OWN is more than what you're wearing altogether. Do you think I was able to wear this over night?" "No." Tristen answered. "So don't expect yourself to get better all of the sudden, either. Alright?" "Okay..." "Tails and I will get you through this. Alright?"

"And I wasn't always a quick endurance runner, and I couldn't always spit fire and throw energy balls," Tails added. "And once, I didn't even like mud. And lava was scary."

Tristen nodded then went to rinse off himself. "You done?" I asked.
"Uh-huh."
"Come on, out." He said. I got up from the toilet seat and helped him out over the tub rim. I gave him a towel and he started to dry off the best he could. "Alright, head off to the bedroom, Tristen. Don't go to bed yet though, alright?" I said, wrapping the towel around him.
"Okay." He said, staring his way off.
"Hey Tails, make sure he doesn't fall over on the way there, will you?" I asked.
