Moé, however, was too sharp for that.
"Oh, no!"
She quickly took his bleeding palms into her hands, and, licking her thumb lightly, she dabbed it on the wounds. It did not heal any of his rotting, but it sealed up and ruined any traces of the nail-wounds.
Kokopelli's hand slowly came out of a portal, and, placing a slip on her head, exorcised Maybelline's voice/spirit; Kokopelli left as soon and quietly as he had come.
Moé looked up at him, and, feeling very foolish for Maybelline being able to manipulate her, she looked downwards in dismay.
Realizing what Caleb had said, she phaseplaced her hand on his cheek, and she leaned up and phasekissed him.

Caleb turned to a soft red. Her kiss tingled his flesh, going from the battered, chapped, and cracked lips down to his legs.

Moé placed her arms around his waist and phased them so she could feel his back. She locked him in a tight embrace.

His neck uncurled until the beak pointed to the ceiling. The color on his skin slowly became more intense. The mask came back down, and rested on her cheek.

Moé took out a small piece of paper and sticked it on his mask.
"There. I don't have to keep phasing."
She kissed him with much more relaxation.

Caleb rubbed the mask on her cheek. His body feeling the intensity of hers.

Moé didn't feel anything.
"You're still breathing through your mask, but it has no physical matter on this plane of existence, because of that."
She pointed to the slip of paper.
"So..."
She grabbed his hand, and waved it in front of his face, it going right through the mask.
"Heehee."
She leaned up and kissed him again.

Caleb let her kiss himself, his hands staying at his sides. He stared down at her.

Moé froze at how awkward this was, and she stepped back, removing the paper.
"Ah... I'm sorry. I, uh, made you uncomfortable again."
His staring was very disconcerting to her, and she shuffled around a bit.
"S-Sir, I'll go and make you something to eat, should you want it..."

Moé nodded, still very uncomfortable, and walked out of the room.
"Uh, call for me if you need me..."

Meredith was trying to avoid conversations with Robin.
Robin insisted, though.
"Meredith, why won't you join my army?"
"I wish not to use my first name."
"Why not? You're pretty young, you're the 'Materdæmona', right?"
"Yes. I am the youngest generation of the materdæmoni. I have no husband."
"So technically your name is 'Materdæmona Meredith'. Just put that!"
Meredith looked away, sulking, and Robin laughed.
"You could keep your first name after you marry, if you did!"
"But... if I somehow died... my children..."
"You're invincible! Your entire bloodline is invincible."
"Egotism is the first step to self-destruction."
Meredith turned away to go where Taro and Jikoku were, and Robin called after her.
"Materdæmona! Reconsider! I'll tell the Head Mother Meredith if you don't--"
"--tell her. I'd rather fulfill my birth role."
"A petty housewife?"
"Moé seems pretty happy with it."
Robin cringed in some sort of inner anger, and, silently, she left into a portal. Jikoku looked at Taro and Meredith, and, frowning, he left too, following her into the portal.
The portal closed.
