meh, I was about to type something yesterday when all of a sudden my husband shouts out flamboyantly about something sports-related causing my cat to be startled and scratch me rather badly. SO I yelled at him(Hubby) and we had a burning_eyes bad moment burning_eyes
So that's what was going on.
Of course- making up was worth it. pirate

Ouchies.
Glad that it's settled now though biggrin
Parents drove me crazy again lol....For years, I've gone off pastry....I hardly eat pastry unless it's pastry from a meal pie (like chicken and vegetable...yummy). So of course today's dinner was....sausage roll, chips and beans (which I also hate). I pulled a face and before I could say anything mum went 'oh let me guess....you don't like beans' me: 'yeah, but I also don't like pastry...I must have told you both hundreds of times'
So anyway...mum never cares what anybody else likes as long as she gets what she wants...so I headed to the store and got a nacho chicken wrap biggrin

So guess what; a couple weeks ago when I was sick we ordered pizza. Well I was balancing the checkbook yesterday and saw a $3 difference in the receipt & the online bank account. The pizza man added on his own tip without authorization! Isn't that messed up?
Anyway, we are stopping by tonight and they are going to give us the $3 and a free pizza...

Yea, I have to wonder how many others have just not noticed the charge or figured their spouse added on a tip or something. The manager seemed very concerned though and contacted her manager and the accountant and they'll be going over some records...
I hadn't thought about it being fraud- though I suppose fraud is a form of theft and thats what I called it.

Wow, that sounds pretty serious.
At least you got free pizza!
Man btw...I was 20 minutes late for Japanese class today.
Got into town on the bus and went across the street to the other bus stop. I saw a National Express coach (kinda like that Greyhound thing you mentioned Amy) was stuck on the road, basically diagonally across the whole road. A policeman was there getting traffic around it, so I figured it was just broken down....and then the fire brigade showed up and the policeman told me and 2 other women at the same bus stop to get out of the area and go to the bus stop across the other side of town. But of course as soon as we got there the bus had already gone. So I called my teacher, said I'd be late and me and the ladies decided to get a taxi and share the fare since we were going the same way. I called the first taxi service in my phonebook and after the lady told me we were literally yards away from their office. It was meant to be 10 minutes for it to arrive....and 20 minutes later at 7.05 we got on the bus. As we were pulling away, what do we see but the taxi pulling up lol We just laughed and said 'well if he was earlier, he would have made some money'
