Kai's eyes went wide as the seven births he helped in flew away and the nervousness sank in, "W-What? But how many," he remembered he was dead, "Uh...you should sit down, come on." he held her not knowing if she should go upstairs, "We should go upstairs."

Kaden furrows his brow at the wave and sinks a little in his seat, not wanting to be around right now without his care taker around. It was awkward and strange concidering he was told not to associate with the Muffin's occupants too much. Reaching up in a nervous manner he scratched the thick perminate stitches on his left eye sinking back a bit more and ducking down watching over the edge of the counter, fingers pressed into the marble with concern and curiosity.

"Yeah, we...probably should," she said, biting back crying out from labor pains. SHe held onto him, not trusting her own feet.

"Alright..."he slowly guided her upstairs to her room, thinking that it should be best and prayed Akeno wasn't near. He helped her to bed and looked back, "I should get Tomo or something. I-I forgot--" he passed a shaking hand through kaen's hair.

She nodded and got herself comfortable. "Yes, get Tomo. He'd be able to help right now," she said,leaning back against her pillow. She started the breathing exercises, letting her eyes close for a moment, before opening them and looking at Kai with a smile. "If you can't find him, get some hot water and towels."

"Alright!" he kissed kaen's forehead and walked out and knocked on Tomo's door, "Emergency, Tomo!!" he ran to his room where he knew he had a bowl for the water. His mind was racing and his glowing eyes confirmed it.

Tomo stirred from his sleep and sprung from his bed at the sound of emergency. He was dressed only in boxers and a grey wife beater, but it was dress enough for right now. "Coming!" He announced, untangling his foot from the sheets before running to the door. He pulled it open, "What's wrong, Kai?" He asked, ears perked.

Kai came out with the water, "Kaen is giving birth. I can't remember what to do so you have to help." He placed the water next t the bed and looked for the towels, "You doing okay, love?" he remembered something, women break hands when giving labor. He bit his lip.

Tomo followed Kai into his and Kaen's room calmly and smiled at the mother-to-be. "Evening, Kaen. If you'll excuse me..." He said, kneeling by the bed to check her dilation. He looked back up at her, "You should be ready to push, soon. How're you feeling?" He asked, hoping demon births were similar to human ones.

Kaen didn't respond as she struggled with a contraction. "D-damn, th-thi-this hurts!!" she cried, gripping the sides of her bed. She tried to control her breathing, which only helped slightly. THe contraction slowed, and Kaen was allowed to relax for a moment. "Owww...." she gasped, then nodded to Tomo as she reached a hand towards Kai.

Kai sat next to her and grabbed her hand without giving it a thought. He passed a hand through her hair, trying to calm her down, "Everything will be fine...Tomo is an expert with babies."
