"Cody, can you use aura?" Endo asked

"right! let's go! Charmander!" Kai yelled letting out his fire type. A zubat closed in, ready to fight. Charmander went first with slash, then used ember, and Zubat fought back with a bite, not doing much damage. Charmander used slash again, scoring a critical hit. Zubat used leech life but missed and Charmander Struck with flamethrower. Kai took the chance and used a pokeball.

Once, Twice, three times, CLICK! Zubat was caught!

"Not professionally, why?" he responded to Endo. He sent out Dratini to take care of the Solrock that approached him. Dratini attacked first with a powerful Aqua Tail, blasting the pokemon back a few feet. It returned the attack with Confusion. Its eyes turned blue and surrounded Dratini in a blue aura-like substance. It constricted the pokemon, but was soon released. The Solrock hadn't honed his psychic skills yet. Dratini launched a Water Pulse, sending Solrock into a daze. The pokemon tried to fight back with Psywave, but hurt itself in confusion, knocking it out. Cody returned Dratini after much congratulations and continued on his path back to the group.

On his way back a Lunatone started to attack. "Chiki, let's go!" Cody threw a pokeball, revealing Bayleef. She attacked with Magical Leaf, sending multicolored leaves flying at the pokemon. The Lunatone returned the attack with Psychic. Its eyes turned purple and Bayleef was quickly picked up and thrown into a wall. Bayleef managed to recover and send out a Poisonpower, quickly poisoning her foe. Lunatone used Cosmic Power. its whole body glowed and rased its Defense and Special Defense. Bayleef charged energy for a Solarbeam. Lunatone used Cosmic Power again, hoping to stop the attack, but the poison had just taken its second hit. Bayleef let out a massive Solarbeam and KOed the pokemon on contact. "Return," Cody said and reclipped Bayleef's pokeball to his belt.

He walked a few more steps, but was stopped by a team of Golbat. "Ok, fine. Plusle, Dratini, come on out. Both Golbats used Mean Look on their opponents to stop their escape, but with a Thunder from both Plusle and Dratini, the Golbats were almost ready to flee. Both attacked their opponents with Wing Attack, but didn't do much damage to either of their foes. With a Thunderbolt from Plusle and another Thunder from Dratini, the Golbats were out.

Ginji smiled as his battles started. It was good to be have adrenaline rushing when things were trying to take your head off. He shrugged it off as he bared his teeth and tossed a Pokeball into the air to combat the two bats that were flying towards him. Luxray and Raichu appeared to take the opponents out. Overkill was in effect here. Raichu started off with a Thunderbolt that hit home on the Zubat which fainted immediately. Luxray rushed at the Golbat and bit it with a Thunder Fang that paralyzed the giant bat. Raichu followed up with a Thunderbolt to do the last bit of damage to the Golbat.

Next up were the Cosmo Twins, Solrock and Lunatone. There worked so well together, Ginji sighed as he made a strategic switch. Blastoise took Luxray's spot as Dragonite took Raichu's spot. Lunatone and Solrock upped their stats with a Cosmic Power, Dragonite unleashed a deadly Ice Beam at Lunatone. The ice held, but it slowly melted to free the Lunatone from captivity. Blastoise attacked all the Pokemon on the field with a Surf, knocking the Lunatone out. Solrock attacked Blastoise with a Solarbeam that it got from the intense energy from the Crystals in the room, doing major damage to the water type. Dragonite countered with an Ice Beam, but Solrock held on strong. Ginji saw his chance for a Luna/Sol tag-team and threw a Pokeball at the Solar shaped Pokemon. Once, twice, thrice, DING! The Solrock was now his.

As Team Aqua was distracting the pokemon, Steven and Lanette went over to a gathering of light-blue crystals and began cutting.
"Your getting better at this!" said Steven to Lanette. Steven was a pro at extracting rock samples, but this had been Lanette's first time. Lanette looked up at Steven and gave him a charming look.
Even though the Team was taking care of the pokemon, a Crobat swooped down from the ceiling, knocking the cutting utensil from Lanette's hands. Steven swiftly stood up and called out Aggron,
"Aggron, Thunder!" commanded the former champion. The large steel/rock type fired a thunderbolt from the horns on it's head and struck the Crobat with a powerful blow. It hit at a bad time, though, as a whole flock of Crobat and Golbat on the ceiling felt the attack and went zooming after Steven and Lanette.
Steven quickly stood in front of Lanette, taking hit after hit of Wing Attacks. Aggron quickly made its way over to charge the flock away and Steven knelt to the ground, hugging his abdomen. Lanette got up to go help him out.
"You... you didn't have to. But... you did..." said Lanette, never receiving such an act of kindness.
"Lanette... we've known each other for a while, right? Heh.." Steven said, clinching in pain at the end. "This might not be a good time, but... heh..." stuttered Steven.
"What?" asked Lanette.
"Would you... marry me?" he asked. He regretted not having a ring to give to her at the moment.
"I..." spoke Lanette, shocked.

"Did that just-?" Ginji stopped in mid sentence as he looked over to Lanette and Steven, or where they just about were. His mouth had refused to work. Waiting for confirmation from other people around him.

Sammy saw a Lunatone and walked up to it. “Go, Vixen!” Sammy said, releasing her pokemon. “Wing attack!” Sammy suggested with voice to her pokemon. Vixen blew the winds up that hit Lunatone, doing a good amount of damage. It countered with Confusion, which also did good. “Vixen: Aerial Ace!” Sammy yowled; Vixen used the move which soared through the sky… But Lunatone remained by a thread! Lunatone countered again with rock throw; Vixen also almost fainted! “Wing attack.. again!” Sammy laughed. Vixen did so, fainting Lunatone. “Good job!” Sammy praised, returning him and walking up to a Solrock.

“Go Troy…” Sammy sighed, getting tired of hurting these pokemon. “Troy: Mega Punch!” Sammy exclaimed, smiling. He punched with all of his might, and Solrock was almost fainted, already. Solrock used fire spin, doing an okay amount of damage to Troy. “Use Thunderpunch!” Troy’s fist became electrified as he punched Solrock, fainting it. “Awesome, Troy!” She praised, also returning him. She then walked to where everyone was standing.
