Another thing to note.
The most interesting storyline Providence has been involved in so far...
After Providence won the WWE Championship at (I forgot the ppv) Chris Masters emerged as the new rising superstar shooting for the number one contender spot. At his side was Women's Champion, Trish Stratus.
Though Providence foiled the duo time and time again, they still managed to secure Master's number one contender's spot at the following ppv. Not only that.. but the match was to be a no-dq ladder match.
When Providence went for the win after thoroughly trashing masters, Trish ran into the ring and struck him with her Women's championship belt. Masters however, couldn't capitalize on it because he was knocked out cold. So, Trish climbed the ladder herself and retrieved the belt to deliver to masters. It was no-dq so this was perfectly legal. At least somewhat. Even the board of directors was confused about what to do.
Eventually they decided that Trish and Masters had join custody of the belt but Providence deserved a rematch for the controversial happenings. It was to be a triple threat match .. yes with Trish included, despite her reluctance to do so. It was thought to be just one more kink to work out of the plan for Masters to be WWE champion.
So the match was on... to protect herself, Trish simply sat the match out. Again, Providence trashed Masters. Victory was assured within only a few moments...
Until Trish ran into the ring and hit Providence in the groin to pin him. Masters saw this and was shocked, in an attempt to stop Trish, he was struck in the groin. Providence was pinned and Trish Stratus was now the sole owner of the WWE Championship belt...

Joseph Brown Because that's hat organized event has implied lateley. Really the only thing that would needed to be done to make this work in the levi is not knee jerk and go "lol defences prevent whatever from enetering my thread". If it effects the entire world you're involved. I agree with this. Except for the idea of simply ignoring any defenses people have had posted in their thread since before the event. I mean...they're there for a reason. A smart event runner can bypass them. 3nodding

Wanna see how many new defenses spring up all over the cities in the near future before the story arc begins?
I laugh at the people who have to use OOC information to prepare themselves for the future which they shouldnt know about IC.

Maximos I agree with this. Except for the idea of simply ignoring any defenses people have had posted in their thread since before the event. I mean...they're there for a reason. A smart event runner can bypass them. 3nodding My experiences in the FFA and Pre-Guild System guilds is the reason defences exist is so that people can't do anything ever. I have no problem going up against reasonable defences, in fact I rather enjoy it. But impossible defences are made to be broken. Very very hard.

They need to be broken, as opposed simply telling the person "You cant do this". With an event like this its fully possible to amass a force capable of destroying any defense.
