In the tournament cannon do all the fights happen at the same time or over a period of time?

I'm operating on the assumption that all the fights take place on the same day, and that there's a quick period of fixing the arena before the next fight comes out and happens.
It's just all PIMETARADOX'd due to nobody wanting to wait that effing long.

And no, because that could possibly count as "interference" and would also serve to distract the fighters on the grounds of not wanting to get involved with the other fights and needing to move to keep outta the way.
