Morrigan trekked through the jungle, though the noises were, in all honesty, starting to scare her. "Keep calm," she soothed herself, "Keep calm. It's better off this way."

"North," Vincent shouted behind him, starting to take off eagerly, "And not too far, either! Perhaps we should teleport and get the jump on them?"

Konton smiled, "Then we shall." he spoke before he and Vincent appeared further to the north. "Find her, Vincent... find her and we find the Tarnb-jin. Find her, and you can set her free from his influence."

If it wasn't for the fact that Konton was evil, he and Vincent could have made a very good team. The faery-hybrid's senses were going haywire; his eyes were fiery like the desert suns, and just as intense. "So close," he whispered, "so close!"
But what they found wasn't what he expected. Morrigan knelt at the bank of a large stream, relaying handfuls of water to her mouth. She was desperately thirsty, especially after all her traveling; her thirst didn't affect her hearing, however. Even if it was too late, she rose to her feet, whipping around.
"Vincent?!" she asked in disbelief, "What are you doing here?!"
Her eyes settled on the other man, her deep mistrust evident as she began to back away. "Just keep away, both of you," she warned, "Or I'll jump into the river."
"You can swim." Vincent shrugged, taking a step forward.
"Pirahnas," Morrigan reminded, "can strip a cow in seconds. Their native habitat is the Amazon rainforests. Put two and two together---Vincent, why are you helping him?!"
"Po-ar misled you!" Vincent exclaimed, "He intended to take you from us! We won't have it, Morrigan," he frowned, "We can't."
"He never took me, I went of my own accord," Morrigan argued, although it was clear that she was getting nowhere this way. She took another step back onto a rock, looking at the vines above her head. If she jumped, and swung, and managed her way across...
"He kidnapped you!" Vincent raged, "He seduced you!"
"I seduced HIM!" Morrigan argued, "No one kidnapped me! Vincent, what's wrong with you?!"

"He is probably looking for her now." Konton whispered to Vincent, in a voice that Morrigan wouldn't be able to hear. "He will come soon... Hurry, before the Tarnb-jin arrives. He will be easier to defeat if Morrigan is not here."

"Where do we send her? How do we ensure she won't escape?" Vincent asked him quietly under his breath, ensuring Morrigan, while she saw their lips moving, heard nothing. The alarm on her face spoke well enough of her thoughts; without hesitation, she leapt for the vines.
Vincent was one step faster, diving for her ankles and keeping a tight grip on them. While she dangled and kicked, trying to free herself, it was all in vain. With a rough yank and a catch, Vincent managed to grapple the fighting woman to the ground, pinning her by the shoulders. "You shouldn't be doing such things, sister." he scolded.
Morrigan closed her eyes. **Don't come, I beg of you,** she reached out to Po-ar, **It's too late! Save the flower---you're the only hope we have!**
She could only hope he could hear her.

And Po-ar did hear her. Jumping up, the Tarnb-jin grabbed the flower and began to run.
Luckily, not in the direction of Konton and Vincent.
'Kuso...' he cursed as he made his way into the mountains.

"She has no magic." Konton replied, tossing a length of very sturdy rope at Vincent. "Tie her up and we bring her with us." the demon smirked, "I hardly think my realm to be a decent place for a lady."

Vincent did as he was told, though Morrigan put up quite the struggle. Even if she was human, she was strong and fiery; her lack of magick was no help against this. Her hands were tied tightly behind her back, so tightly she could feel the circulation restricted. He further strapped her arms to her sides, binding her waist with many coils of the rough hemp, the end of which he fashioned into a leash.
Even bound, she was wriggling and thrashing about, like a bird caught in a net; she didn't want to go with them at all. "Where are you taking me?!" she demanded, her eyes leveling on Konton. She thought she had recognized him. Even as a human, he gave off an odd feeling to her, one of dread; with or without her magick, she could tell. It was peculiar, but she owed it to the clawprint that still scarred her breast.
**Just teleport far, far away from here,** Morrigan begged, **Anywhere, somewhere, somewhere I don't know. Please, you have to, you must----I don't want to end up like Vincent, Po-ar. I can't hurt you.**

Po-ar continued to run. He heard Morrigan's voice, but feared that if he responded...
That they would find him.
That they would find the flower.

"We are taking you nowhere." Konton replied. "You have returned to your brother. All we want is Po-ar."

"You won't find him." Morrigan replied confidently, "I don't even know where he is. A terrible shame, don't you think?"
Vincent glared at her. "Why are you protecting him!?"
Morrigan didn't respond, but looked up at the both of them in quiet defiance.

Konton smiled, "There are easier ways to find him, my dear." the demon hissed. "Ways that you can help me with... under the right persuasion."

"I doubt that," Morrigan spat recalcitrantly, her stubbornness well-known by this point, "I refuse, and he won't come for me! I made sure of it! He knows what to do, and what to avoid---you especially!" she glared.
"Why don't you make it easier on yourself, little sister?" Vincent chided calmly, gaining control over his emotions. "Why must you always resist?"
"Are you out of your mind?!" Morrigan demanded, wrinkling her brow, "What has Konton done to you?!"
"Made me see the truth." Vincent answered coldly, "Now I understand why all these troubles have come to us---and it's because of Po-ar. He'll kill you, Morrigan! You're a faery!"
"He has pointed ears too!" Morrigan argued, "He's related to us somehow!"
"Never," Vincent growled, "I won't allow him to kill you, Morrigan."
Morrigan closed her eyes, composing herself. She had to stay calm.
She had to get through this.
"You've been poisoned," Morrigan spoke softly, "Vincent, he poisoned you."
"When?! How?!" Vincent laughed, shaking his head. "You're the one who's out of your mind, not I."
"Did he cut you?!" Morrigan shot, "He's a damn DEMON Vincent! You don't think he has ways of controlling you?!"
She could at least take solace in lacking her magick. Without it, she was ill equipped to do much of anything; however, this meant she was unable to trace Po-ar.
Except...
The realization dawned on her, and she fell very, very quiet.

Konton laughed, "You speak of a cut, Morrigan. I actually tore his arm off." the demon smiled. "But I did not poison your brother. I made him realize that your life, his life, is safer without the Tarnb-jin in your life. I want him," Konton hissed, walking toward Morrigan. "I want him and the winged boy whom you have hidden. Where are they?" he smirked. "I can make you tell me, Morrigan... You KNOW you can not refuse forever."

Morrigan's eyes flashed in recognition. She was getting more and more intelligent and perceptive when it came to how Konton and Naga treated her; Herne hadn't been a threat for a short time now, but she knew that meant little if anything.
What cocktail of poisons would she recieve this time?
"Even if I DID tell you, you won't be able to get there." Morrigan replied firmly, staring up and taking a deep breath. She wouldn't go easily. That was against how she was brought up. "Do your worst, it won't make any difference."

A wicked gleam appeared in Konton's eyes. "Are you so sure?" he asked, kneeling down next to Morrigan.
His wings unfolded to keep the demon balanced as he crouched there. One clawed hand went out to gently grasp Morrigan's chin and force the woman to face him.
"You can find him." the demon whispered. "You can tell me where he is and life for you and your brother shall go on as it always has."

"No; I cannot find either," Morrigan clarified, although she knew she could trace Po-ar the same way as Vincent traced her. If only they hadn't rushed things---more like she, she knew how she was. "Without my magick, no one can enter that place save the druids I have trained, and they are all within. There is no way to get there. You won't ever find them." she growled, facing his eyes without fear. "I am positive. Before Po-ar, my life was bleak. If you think I'm going to return to that, you better have second thoughts."
Vincent glared at her. "What about Ea?!"
"Ea's been dead for centuries!" Morrigan retorted, her eyes barely filling with tears; she was controlling herself the best she could. "We can't bring him back! I have to move on." she sighed. She did miss him. She would always love him.
But she had Po-ar now, and it was just as good, if not better than Ea. While the priest had died many years ago, she would see him someday.
More like whenever the next time she died was.
"I won't," she protested, "I don't care what you offer me, or drug me with. There is nothing I can do to help you. Why do you think I ran away to begin with?" she asked incredulously, "I was aware of how you were tracing us. At least with me here, we have a chance of defeating you." Her eyes were burning with a thousand fires, and she was passionately devoted to Po-ar, as well as Konton's demise. "I won't return to that, ever. If you think I would, or will, you're crazy."
