Yep, I do smile . Your jealous? Why? I would think that going home everyday after school would be like heaven. But... my room mates are like my sisters, so I love it here. Have you read the series Private, by Kate Brian?

Gahh, I got accepted into private school (it was a gifted and talented school (aka TAG)) as a 3rd grader (I did really well on state assessments), but I had to move. The school where I go now is exclusive (like you have to apply and be interviewed to get in), but I go to my own home at night. smile So I guess I have a bit of the best of both worlds.
Super, first, feel better soon! Second, I adore the shoes. The laces are fanastic. smile
Kay Min, I shall!

Suze, how far is the TAG school from your house? Does the school provide transportation for it? I know both public and private schools around here do, but there aren't any TAG schools near me, so I haven't the slightest idea how it works.
When I was 9 many of the teachers thought that I should skip a grade because all through school up until that point I aced every assignment in every subject. In the end, they decided that I shouldn't because they figured that I wouldn't be able to handle it emotionally. I suppose they presumed that since as a child I cried in school often because I got made fun of by my classmates daily. I was very sensitive.
There's a lot of friends I wouldn't have met if I'd skipped a year, thus I'm glad that I didn't. When I was 12 I didn't cry in school anymore and by the time I was 15 I no longer cared what anyone said about me. I like being a confident person much better! I recommend it to everyone! biggrin

The one I go to now is 15 minutes from my house. I am one of the luckier ones because my bus ride is twenty minutes (so yeah, they provide transportation). I know someone who has an hour on the high school bus and then she has to get on an elementary school bus for about 30 minutes. eek
Oh Min, I got considered to skip a grade in 4th grade (so I would've been 9 also.). I would get assigned like 10 problems for homework and they were so easy, I'd do 80 problems xd . I did super well on my assessments. I still do pretty well (I am in the top percentile in my state and have gotten the opporunity to take the SAT since 6th or 7th grade.) When they considered moving me up, I begged everyone not to. So now, I am just in all honors classes and such. I do pretty well I guess. (I've kept straight A's all through school.)
I used to get made fun of and there are still people who make rude remarks now, but I really gained my confidence when I was thirteen. Plus, I guess I am more liked now. (When I came back to school after missing 3 days 2 weeks ago, I got told that everyone was happy I didn't die xd .) Being confident is a lot better! (Even if I am not totally there, I like the changes made so far smile )

Urgh, that long of a bus ride everyday is horrid! cheese_whine I should know. When I was 16 I went to a vocational school in the morning and my secondary school (high school) in the afternoon. The vo school was far away, so I had to wake up at 5 a.m. every morning to catch the bus. gonk
Maybe it would be good if you didn't reach my level of confidence. People that don't like me tell me that I come across as conceited. sweatdrop None of my friends think that because they actually know me, but it could still be bad to give the wrong impression.

Super, I don't want to say everything will be okay, because how can you lose someone and everything be okay? I'm sorry just doesn't cover what I am trying to express either. So I don't know what to say besides that I hope god blesses you during this rough time. *send virtual big bear hug*
My 'grandpa' (not flesh and blood but he has been there since my birth and such ) has been diagnosed with four different types of cancers. They give him 2 and a half weeks and I live half-way across the country from him and the next time I will be going to my home town will be in late March. It's hard, I know. It hard to slowly be losing everyone you care about.. emo

Aw, it's so gloomy in here. sad I wanna cheer everyone up. Hmm...
*grabs wand* "Sonorus!"
I'd be thinner, I'd be taller Go clubbing in my collar With skin pale as a moth Dressed in black, I'd go creepin' While the normal folk are sleepin' If I only were a Goth With my hair up, I'd look fancy Like Siouxsie and the Banshees With silk or velvet cloth Dressed in boots, never sandals And the room would be lit with candles If I only were a Goth Yes I'd wanna die From the bottom of my heart impure Would I like another clove? Well, sure And after that, we'll go listen to The Cure I'd pretend to be a vampire Like in stories 'round the campfire I'd suck your bloody froth Yes the thing I'd be best at Is impersonating Lestat If I only were a Goth In my casket purse I'm toutin' Einsturzende Neubauten And pagan hymns to Thoth Yes the world would be depressing Over death I'd be obsessing And this corpse that I'm undressing Would be sexier, I'm guessing With my diet I'd get scurvy And I'd worship Peter Murphy If I only were a Goth
"Quietus!" That was the parody of "If I Only Had a Brain" from The Wizard of Oz called "If I Only Were a Goth." It makes me laugh. Did it cheer you up?

Thank you Suze!! Well, besides getting the evil stare from the stupid sub that we had, everything has gone back to normal.
Guess what, guys! These two stray pupps' came up to my school when we were out on the field and our headmaster put me and my friend Michael in charge of finding their owner. Unfortunetly, the big dog, who we named Rocky, had to be youthonized. But, to make thing's better, our headmaster aggreed that Michael and I could keep the little puffball we named Snowball! It's a good thing that Michael and I have conjoined rooms, or else it would be a little tricky keeping care of her.
