He scratched his head nervously. "Eh heh, well, I guess that would be a good idea. I don't want to ruin the club's reputation."

Watanuki let his eyes meet Kaoru's again, but this time it set him a little off balance. He wasn't used to making new friends, but things just really clicked. Despite the odd setting- one that he will now have to return to on a regular basis. Yeah, he still had mixed feelings about that.

At the mention of Kaoru's brother, "Oh! Yes, I never had the chance to meet him. Is he feeling better?"

Sure I'll like him, if he's anything like you. Watanuki thought to himself. Wow, that would be weird... two Kaoru's running around? Well, they could just be fraternal twins...

Asking before thinking, "Are you and your brother identical?" Of course he only meant their looks, but it was a rather open ended question.

Seeing Kaoru laugh made Watanuki want to do the same. Why? Maybe the world will never know...

"Oh wow, a game? I'm certain I'd lose that one every time." He crossed his arms. "You could probably give someone a red wig and I wouldn't know the difference." He seemed rather fed up with himself at that thought.

"Fifty-fifty? I suppose, but if my guess is a fluke it doesn't really accomplish anything," he just spouted. Did he even know what he was talking about?

As he listened to Kaoru, he didn't like hearing him say he was used to it. "Used to it..." he repeated quietly. "Yeah, it's funny the things you get used to." He was thinking about his ability to see ghosts and other unsightly things. He didn't want to be down though, so he smiled his fake smile. "Oh well, we get on just the same."

Watanuki was caught in the act, and it spooked him a bit. "Oh, sorry..." He looked away and sported a frown, and yet it looked better on him. Drumming his fingers on his own crossed arm, he continued, "It's a habit."

The frown disappeared when he looked back to the redhead. "I think we already are good friends." Oh that was blunt, but it was too late. "Ah, I mean, um..." He looked away again furrowing his brow, having sucessfully confused himself.

He immediately flustered at that. "Oh no no I couldn't possibly!" he said frantically waving his hands before him. He even turned a bit pink. It didn't make a bit of difference if the hosts did use their first names, to Watanuki it didn't even register as a valid reason. It didn't occur to him that he would be encouraged to use his own first name as well... would that be okay?!?

How Watanuki even came to use Kaoru's first name at all was a mystery.

Kozue had been standing back silently, watching all of this progress. It did not escape her notice when the crying girl came back in with food, then left it upon being ignored. Kozue felt sympathy for her: Kozue hated it when no one paid attention to herself. Eventually she wandered over to the food (first snitching some of the cupcakes from the distraced Watanuki, of course) and went over to see the note the girl left behind with the food.
It was an apology note. To Kozue. For being mean.
Wow. She must be really nice. Kozue picked up one of the shakes and sipped at it, pocketing the cupcakes in her pack (a messenger bag) for later. I should thank that girl, or at least learn her name. Besides, the twin is busy with the cooking kid-Kaoru, how did I know it was Kaoru?-so there's no more fun for me here at the moment. I'll get to know that twin later.
Kozue meandered outside into the hallway and looked around to se if she could spot the girl with the purse. She did quickly...she was asleep. Kozue walked over and stood nearby for a minute, pondering her options. Should I wake her up?

Kozue listened to the chatter with mild interest and amusement, half because of what she was saying (Note to self: check out this diner sometime), half because Sawyer had a mild accent. She must not be Japanese, Kozue decided.
"Apology accepted. Sorry about acting like I was gonna keep your purse. My name's Kozue."
