TeaDidikai True Colours of Destiny I thought universities were supposed to make people mature. Where the hell did that assumption come from?! The way the school treats everyone and how people usually present themselves here. It's also the marketing involved with how the place is projected. We're more academic based so the perception that gets projected onto a lot of people is that we don't have a lot of student life. So while I wouldn't mind this sort of intrusion, it's just so derogatory and insulting towards everyone else besides their graduating class year.

Next time someone likens to keeping animals for food to "playing god," I think I'll ask them WHICH god they're proposing I'm playing.
YHWH, the god who is recorded as giving man dominance over the Earth to tame and subdue it? The god who snubbed a vegetable offering in favor of an animal offering?
Artemis, goddess of the hunt?
Hermes, god of animal husbandry?
Or any other god that demands sacrifices of... oh... livestock?
Quite frankly, I doubt the gods are going into vapors over my steak. stare

We apparently now have a place called the EAZT EUЯOPEAN DISCOTHEQUE. In big letters, just like that. Apparently it's the local Slav hangout now biggrin
On the bad mood side of it - I hate when people use Я for R. It's not the same. Not even close. I know most English speakers see a backward R, but to me, Я is "ja." I don't read it as "European," I read it as "Euyarean." It's not that I'm too confused... just... off-put by reading it twice to get the word right. :/
Please, stop using Greek and Cyrillic letters in place of Latin ones. They usually aren't what they look like. >.< Just call it one of my pet peeves.

Sorry for the delayed response. I was trying to think of how to best describe it, but I guess it's difficult to put into words. In any case, it was basically painting both of them in a much more favorable light than can be supported by Scripture, and, in particular, writings by both Christian and Jewish scholars.

I'm just so tired. Tired of it all always being about you - how crappy you feel, how crappy your life is... Because obviously my life has totally been rainbows and ponies rolleyes
I used to be a really loving and caring person, but day in and day out of putting up with your s**t has dragged me so far down, I don't even know how to get myself out of the pit I'm in. Maybe if you actually gave a s**t about someone other than yourself, but that is apparently asking way too much of you.
I don't even have the energy to feel angry anymore, I just feel dead inside. Thanks a lot for killing me.

Thanks a lot for killing me. Get help. Seriously. This is not a good place to be in and the odds are that if the situation is bad enough, your state's version of BHR may have resources available for you to get tools to better cope with your current situation.
