Katherine stood and motioned for him to walk outside with her. Once just outside in the coutyard she shut the door. Her voice was a bit softer as she leaned her frame aginst the door. "Listen i.. When that stuff was going on.. you really helped me you know.. and if.. " Her purple eys looked up to him then shimmering with tears she was trying to force herself not to shed.

"I know I have to do this though. I keep looking back at the times when I was needed to come through in battle against those really tuff opponents. I should have died so many times in the past before but something or someone always pulled me out of the ruts I won't need the saving. I can do my job and actually protect. Don't worry I'll still make all those little herbal drinks and mixes. I enjoy them so even with an elder's power I'll rely on my little herb drinks." Zypher said being a it more bright than before. He gave Katherine a freindly hug.
"I'll be back I promise. Dying for good would make me a liar." Zypher said breaking the embrace and walking off. Without another word he vanished. It would be too painful for him as well if he didn't leave there. He started to tear up as well and any further talk would have made him stay. He didn't know if he would come back or not but he had to try. He would die there or die in battle in the near future. Either way the only way to live was to endure this trial.
Tempest sat in the hallway bit. She remembered the trial as well and she almot didn't make it back. A child said to have potentail as one of the strongest of the elders almost failed. She was affraid she would never see her brother again.

Katherine stood there for the longest time. She let a couple of tears flow she hadn't been able to say it.. to say anything really she just mumbled like a fool. She stayed till she had pulled herself together enough to walk back in. She saw Tempest then "He will be alright, he has to." She spoke walking over to her.

Tempest couldn't choke back tears anymore. She began to cry there she knew she could believe in her brother. It was just the odds were against him. The elders are strang because they survived something that is nearly impossible. Alot of her family had died from this test her mother included. She couldn't stand to lose her again.
"I hope he does come back I don't want to hurt like this forever." Tempest said between sobs.
((Alright well I can barley stay awake here. Sundays are my busy as hell days so I'm gonna get some sleep and be on tomorrow.))

Katherine embraced her she was hurt to but best not to show that. "He will he wouldn't leave us." She said reasueingly but in truth she was telling herself that.

Matachi would find her after seeing what was up "I've got some news Katherine." He said sullenly as he stood about twenty feet away from her as though he was scared to tell her

Katherine let go of Tempest but not away knowing how upset she was she turned to look to Matachi. By his face it was something bad. "What's wrong?"

Matachi looked at her a silent tone calming over "You once asked how I came back." He said as he stood there the night breeze making his cloak and tunic flutter slightly

Katherine then took a step forward. "Matachi just tell me." Her face now looked worried more than worried.

Matachi nodded "To come back a person must take over someones body at the point of near death for that person." he said "My psyhical features were implemented onto the host, but..the bodies system flaws are not changed or altered." He said

"What does that mean Matachi?" She spoke ever so softly she had went to worry and now to fear pure fear.

Matachi sighed "The body I am in came from a older soldier, he died of complications due to internal wounds." He said "My body can not be fully repaired, as we speak I work to keep the wounds on my kidneys, and liver sealed. Since the man died of those I must keep those closed for the fact this body is actually ment to bed dead, but it is fully alive so the things we did were me. Hmm let me see, basically I have wounds that can never be closed but the body is me all to that point."

"But i thought you said?.. I thought it..." She took a deep breath pushing away tears the day had went from bad to wores. "Your dieing?" Again he .. "That can't be right couldn't i fix it?"

Matachi nodded "I have been dieing each day, each day getting harder and harder to keep the wounds sealed." He said "But, there is a way for me to live, its a hard way but it can defy death." he said
