I love singing. ^_^; and I'm lucky to have a decent voice... though I think i don't push myself enough -_- well, that will come another time smile i'm thinking of forking out for singing lessons. dude some of the singers today were horrible!!! But we all had fun so it was okay.
Social Psychology ^^ Well basically I had a whole slew of exams this week which were mostly psychology based, like Individual Differences and Memory and all that. Though I also had Spanish and Social Anthropology.
Thanks Nos! heart

I totally agree that some artists today suck. *cut to pics of Gaga, Ke$ha, and Taylor Swift*
What's the difference between Social Psych and Sociology?

I like Gaga haha. ^^; I'm not a fan of her personality and her... more attention seeking side, but I like her songs.
Social Psychology is basically the study of behaviour in a group context. Like how the presence of others, or even the implied presence, affects behaviour. For example you stop at a red light even when there's no one there (well, you normally do..), because it's what society expects you to do. Or you obey the instructions of your captain during battle. Or you hold a certain attitude because of interactions with certain people. And so on.
While Sociology is more like the study of societies or groups on a large scale. Like, how Americans tend to behave, think etc., or middle aged women, or baseball loving youths... it's more group based.

That sounds like a fantastic area of study. I remember hearing about how they studied the prolong effects of isolation, and how human communication is more or less a drug and without a source the mind will true and create a synthetic form to keep a persons chemicals in balance or something.
I thought it was interesting but I haven't gotten a chance to take any classes on it as of yet.

Oh, they have done isolation studies on individuals in the 50s (back when that sort of thing was not regulated... hence, the infamous Milgram experiment and Stanford Prison "study"). They found that people crave sensory experience and that prolonged time without it leads to phantom sensations, or basically hallucinations haha. I don't remember much else of the results of that study.
Our module didn't include that, but social psych is a big field. It sounds pretty interesting! That means that maybe one day scientists can isolate (or have already isolated) that chemical and can basically create a drug for ostracism/isolation... That's kind of creepy. Actually, if you think about what Social Psych can be used for (huge advances were made in WWII to a) understand Nazi German regime and b) persuade US population to sacrifice more, not engage in counterwareffort activities like gossiping a lot and so on) it's kind of creepy.

Indeed XD
I find it difficult to write long posts without other people around though, mostly because most of my posts involve responding to people haha. I understand how intro posts can set the setting but idk... i'm lazy XD I skip to the interactions.. >_> Still, it was an awesome post though smile
Night all... I'm exhausted haha.

Yeah, I focus a lot on interactions. I tried to dedicate all my posts to the activity my character was doing at the time, but writing 300 + words on a single push up didn't really help.
