Finn was fully ready for the attack. but then her friend jumped in and she smiled thinking
" thank you" she thaught maby Necko would hear her thaught? who knows all she knew was that she was safe for the time being so she took the time to recooperate and stand up into an offencive stance.

Neko couldn't hear thought, but she could smell how relieved Finn was. She stood there, well braced for an attack.

He stood up straight, putting his sword away. "What do you want, Elder? You have no reason to be interferring here and now. This is between me and the girl here." He points over the Elder's shoulder to the girl. "Well? What reason, of all people, would you have to protect her?"

"Quite the opposite in fact. I have every right to interfere. This lycan is my friend, and I will not allow you to harm her. I saw you randomly attack her, and I will not condone such behavior from anyone." Neko said, her gun still pointed at him though his weapon was down.

Finn stod up knowing that with a gun pinned on him the vampire wouldent move. and she walked twards her friend.
"thanks" she said with her knives still in hand.

A small smile formed on his face, his eyes going back to their original color of dark brown. He took a step away from the demon elder and lycan. He turned his back upon them, shielding himself from the rain by covering himself with his ripped cloak. "Quite a downpour, yes Elder? I think it's pointless for this weather to happen, don't you think so?"

"Your point being?" Neko asked. She didn't really mind the rain, though her ears where turned down against it. "If you're trying to ask me if I know why it's raining...maybe I do, maybe I don't. Why would I tell you in any case?"
She flicked a tail at Finn, her way of saying "Don't mention it." without actually saying it.

Finn smiled knowing what Neco ment, she and she grabbed her skim board seeing that the Vampire was calming down now. she set it in the water and rode around a little.
"so what have you been up to Neko?" she asked trying to lighten the mood.

"I wasn't asking you anything, Lycan lover." He turned back to her, his fangs showing. "I was just commenting on the weather and it's pointlessness. Since you're going to protect your little friend here, then why don't I just leave you two to each other?" He turned away, walking off from the Lycan and the Elder.

Neko suddenly got a devious grin on her face. "A lycan lvoer am I? Well, you were talking pretty cozily with her yourself, not to long ago. Besides, I already have a fiance, and you're not the only one who has fangs." She shiwshed her tails. "I'm fine, Finn. Thanks for asking, and what about yourself?"

He stopped in his tracks, his hair covering his face again. He turned slowly, looking at the Elder through his hair. "It was an act, fool. Nothing more. It's called luring. You of all people should know that." He turned his back upon them again, sitting on a bench far away from the Lycan and Elder.
