Welp, now I feel like being aggressive.

1 - A person disagreeing with you is not evidence of aggression toward your person. Get over yourself.
2 - Citing your reasoning and claiming I offer nothing but 'because I said so' while ignoring my rebuttal of your reasoning is intellectually dishonest.
3 - A qualifying statement does not imply disagreement. Actually, it implies agreement should the conditions of the qualifying statement be met.
4 - You are annoying.

This post is not evidence that I was aggressive. I was neutral, up 'til when you insisted I had it out for you and ignored my arguments to laud your own superiority. But, by then, th conversation was over.

I am debating whether or not I should put you on my ignore list. I haven't yet done it to anybody, so you might be the special snowflake you are trying to show off as. The again, you are a major player in a thread I frequent and it might be detrimental to me in understanding the conversation to ignorelist you.

Bones and my discussion starts here, should anyone want to look at it and tell me if I have acted inappropriately toward Bones. If you don't, though, no biggie.

Ages ago. They were like this when I was in grade school too, and that was years ago. 3nodding

You just notice it more when you're divorced from the setting.

This means I can't go and blame the usual things like TV and music and internet?

I'm sure it was the influence of those Teletubbies and Lady Gaga and Neopets.

Socrates had a time machine.
That is a valid point. And Socrates DID meet Bill and Ted.

That might explain it.

I understand. Universities have traditions for graduating students.

But how the ******** did we end up with one where all the graduating engineers dress up in costumes, run around campus, scream and yell inside of buildings, while class are going on, run through said class rooms, and then trash everything in sight.

I'm serious, all throughout m tutorial an hour ago, we heard screaming coming from outside and one of the people poked his head through. When we all got outside, the second floor was trashed. There were newspapers everywhere (which draws my ire since I spend my Wednesday nights helping with that), garbage all over the floor. The engineers, on the first floor, were peering down on people and yelling, "PICK IT UP FROSH!" (even though we weren't). I heard it didn't just happen here, but a whole bunch of buildings, including one of the libraries.

I thought universities were supposed to make people mature. The administration should cancel a few of their things. But of course they won't, since "engineers rule UW". scream rolleyes
