Angel whimpered. "But... but..."
"Angel, you can plan a wedding for me and Val," Alek said hurriedly, watching her perk up. Under his breath, he muttered, "Again."

"Sorry Angel, but Van and Mala's is not your wedding to plan. But I promise you'll get to plan ours from top to bottom." Riley said giving her another kiss on the top of her head. "If you want to go off and relax on your own, now's a good a time as any before Van comes back and you two are attached at the hip again." he teased Mala.

"If you ever need to calm her down," Alek said to Riley, "just tell Angel to plan a wedding for me and Val. During our time at the manor, me and Val had... well, at least two thousand unique weddings."

Mala rolled her eyes and chuckled. "You're right. I'm going to 'disappear' for a little bit. Unless the news is dire, please don't come find me." she said before heading off in the direction of the hot springs.

Mala went off and eventually found a hotspring to soak lazilly in as she thought things over. She wondered how she and Van should celebrate his return once they were reunited...

"Yes." Angel held out her palms, and two flowers blossomed in them. "White or blue harpy-toes?" Despite the disgusting-sounding name, they were really pretty.

"Actually," Val said absently, "red is traditional for vampire weddings. Fifty-two willing virgins are found, and all are bled a little, the bridal dress soaked in it. The idea was that the blood looked lovely." She chuckled quietly.

"I can imagine. I can't say white's my color anyway; although given my choices between white and blue here, white would go better I think." Riley said pointing at the two flowers Angel held out to him.
