Miete lay against him and continued to watch the movie, worrying about the fact that he still sounded depressed.

Keshoto's breathing slowed as he drifted off to sleep, still holding onto Miete.

Miete looked up at Keshoto after he was completely silent for a while and smiled, drifting off to sleep herself in his arms.

Keshoto woke up a few hours later, staring at the clock. It's almost dinner time... He looked back down at Miete, and smiled, lightly stroking her hair.

Keshoto smiled at her, figuring he wasn't hungry. I feel exactly as I used to... Is she really her, or am I so desperate that my body is trying to trick my mind so that I live? He played with Miete's ears, still smiling.

Miete's ears twitched at the touch and she blearily creaked an eye open, saw Keshoto, and smiled. "Hi, how long have we been sleeping?"
