Nathan groaned. He looked around for any sign of anything that might have happened. Anything.

The lack of forensic data was the biggest recurring thing; apparently the investigators thought that was a big deal. Maybe they were right. Anatoly finally came upon something that might interest him: there were minor signs of a struggle at the southern end of the complex, and what looked like the trauma of a heavy impact on the ground at the northeastern corner. Looking at the files, Anatoly groaned: they were huge. Another look, this time at the clock, showed that he only had time to reasonably read one if he had any hope of following a lead they might put out before the trail ran cold.
Well, there was the fact that the office was in literal pieces. There was a series of scorchmarks in an ascending line across the far wall, and the desk had been shattered in half. There did not appear to be any clues or evidence.

Anatoly flipped his carved coin.
"Square in the triangle is northeastern corner," he muttered. It came up the other way. He began to read the signs-of-a-struggle report quickly, starting the hoverSUV to follow it as soon as he was done.

Nathan let out a sigh. Okay, now he probably ought to leave. Crap, his stuff... he wondered if any of it was intact, and he went to go check.

As the time ticked painfully past, Anatoly managed to glean the following information:
1. The apparent struggle led away from the building; therefore, those struggling had been escaping. 2. There was blood at the scene of the struggle that did not match blood anywhere else; therefore, it could be inferred that it belonged to an attacker, since victim blood was everywhere else. 3. The blood was found close to the building and moving inward; therefore, those bleeding had apparently been retreating into the building. 4. Slight details seemed to indicate that 5 or 6 had been in the escaping group.
Nathan was greatly saddened to learn that the entire residential wing was totally destroyed.

At a stop light, Anatoly carefully considered what he'd read. He cackled as he realized....
"Blazer Black lives on yet!" Anatoly yelled, the soundproof car giving no indication to those around him that a man was cheering the survival of a malevolent secret society. "I just need to get in contact with them! They'd have left the warehouse but they must have gone somewhere..." He tried to think of where they might have a backup base as he headed to the old base.

Anatoly had a vague memory of Rufus mentioning a spare warehouse down by the water...

Anatoly decided to check the warehouse again before heading to the possible secondary base.

There was nothing to see there. The fire was out and the police were still looking around.

Anatoly, knowing that nothing on him would be found as he'd removed all of his personal effects from the base in advance. He headed in the general direction of the warehouse, checking carefully to be sure he wasn't being followed.

He was not followed. Anatoly managed to find his way to a rather rundown warehouse, on the edge of the bay and slightly removed from the docks. He could not drive closer than 40 feet due to the debris that lay around.

Anatoly parked a bit back to avoid drawing attention and made his way cautiously to the warehouse.

He heard a very ominous rumble as he advanced. He was only about halfway across. Proceed? Y/N.

Anatoly continued, very cautiously, with his ice primed. He was now well-fed and well-rested.

The rumbling died down a bit. Just as Anatoly was relaxing, it kicked back up in rapidly increasing intensity. Suddenly, gigantic vines shot out of the ground and lashed out at him, coming from all directions.
