........I don't wanna play dark souls anymore..... sad There's a difference of dying because of impatience, overconfidence and lack of skills then do die because the game feels like it; enemy having randomly longers attack distances, (they hitting from meters away while you struggel hitting a dude right in front of you), enemy hitting you desbide blocking aaaaaaaand game desiding to let your character slide into a small hole.

Vikki Stardust What I keep hearing is that it's not a bug, it's a feature! blaugh B***S*** is what it is. emotion_donotwant Just like the fact that enemies can swing their weapons in tight corridors without penalty while yours stops dead in it's track when. Nor there is real reason wield more then 1 weapon, since there are no differences with weapon types, other then how much damage it makes and even then it makes no sense. My 1H long sword does waaaaaaaay more damage then a 2H claymore?!?!

And if your scaling is different on the weapons, then yeah, it'll do more damage. You're trying to look at Dark Souls the way that people look at other ARPGs, and you can't. It's related to them, but nothing like them. Accept that Dark Souls 1 has some design issues and move past them, or you are going to get too hung up on rage to keep playing.

Hey man, if all else fails just use this: link. Lots of good info on weapons and damage types, and other s**t, games so old now pretty much everything will be in there on the wiki. I loved Dark Souls, I played it a lot on the Xbox and got pretty savvy at getting through the game without wanting to break my controller hahaha.

Caleidah You're trying to look at Dark Souls the way that people look at other ARPGs, and you can't. It's related to them, but nothing like them. Accept that Dark Souls 1 has some design issues and move past them, or you are going to get too hung up on rage to keep playing. I did, I mostly over-simplified things like holding on to the long sword I have and ignore the rest of the weapons and don´t considering what I do as "leveling" but as "upgrading".
But still feels pretty annoying with rest of the things happening. gonk I just don´t wanna play it for awhile.

But seriously, this is blast (get it it? xP ) to play with a good PUG. biggrin Not only do you get to drive a 80's mucle car, but forklifts aswell. :3
Also, Cook Off heist? Best for cash farming, specially on Overkill. <3

Our hero returns to the strange world of Dark Souls, wandering the lower parts of the Bligthtown before finding his way into the Chaos Witch Quelaags lair. A lava spider?!?! gonk Well.... aslong as I can stay close and avoid...... eek Ummmm....... oh my.... redface

- Manages to rings the second bell. 4laugh
- Travels back to the starting point (firelink shrine), only to find the flamekeeper dead and his only 20 flask campfire extinquished. emotion_donotwant
- Tries to enter new opened area only meet high level monsters. gonk
- Remembers the Catacombs with skeletons and decides to venture there. eek
- Fights his way ton of enemies, only to end up dead falling thru cracked floor in to the hands of an axe-wielding black knight. emotion_donotwant
- Tries to beat black knight again, but finds him having dissappeared. eek ninja
- Shrugs and jumps down to face new enemy types, only find the black knight marching from the corner to attack. Gets ganked up and killed. gonk
- Decides to be careful and carefully trying to beat the mobs first before meeting the black knight. Realises it being pointless because the f***** can teleport thru walls. emotion_donotwant
- Eventually manages to kill the effing knight, continues exploring abit further before spotting a fog gate. Not wanting to risk meeting a boss yet, he back tracks abit to face a stone deamon, gets his a** beaten. gonk
- Tries again, only to die while realising the game has dmg mechanics randomized. emotion_donotwant
- Beats the b*****d and travels thru the fog gate. Meets a interesting boss, which he beats with relative ease. emotion_yatta
- Travels to a new location, which is pitch-black with little to no light source. Dies at the hands of either giant skeletons or the pit while dodging to avoid attacks. emotion_donotwant
- Table Flips and uninstalls the game. evil

Sean King I'm still playing Diablo III. It's a pretty decent game. 3nodding Not as good as Diablo 2, but still an alright game. How far are you and which difficulty?
