"Glad to hear," Meredith mused with a smile, not taking her eyes off Veroen, keeping a close watch on him, "that some of you newbies know my name. The last ones I met didn't even realize who I was until I started barking at them, pardon the pun. And the one before that friggin' shot me in the shoulder because I was a friggin' wolf but yeah I would be the little Jackson alright. And it's a pleasure to meet you as well though I think it'd be nice to just bump into someone by accident once in a while instead of barging in on their fight or soon to be situations. I'll tell you, being a hunter leader really butchers the social life so you'll want to think about that twice if I ever decide to dump the duty off on you." She chuckled and oversaw Veroen as he smiled slightly, glad to see that he seemed to be a little less pissed than Marcus had described before. Of course, he still hadn't let the lycan girl go and Eden wasn't about to see her harmed or Veroen simply because they were at some sort of petty misunderstanding.
Meredith stiffened slightly as she caught the other lycan's scent down wind and wrinkled her nose and squeezed her eyes shut for a moment only for them to open and begin fluttering a little before she finally sneezed. "I'd say this girl has a buddy that's waiting for her so you probably don't want to keep him waiting. He's probably from her pack so be nice and lay off, Veroen. She's not going to hurt you, she's just scared. Let her go, give her some trust. It's not as hard as you'd think. Go on." She was playfully urging Veroen to let the girl go, trying to lighten what she made out as a pretty tense situation. Hopefully the girl and the male lycan would take comfort in the fact that she was also a lycan though she wasn't sure whether they would or wouldn't. Either way all they needed was a tainted to make this a full on rock jam session.

Marcus could read the confusion on the young girl's face, which he took as a good sign. If she was confused, then that mean she wasn't aiming to fight. If she wasn't aiming to fight, then the situation has defused and they could all leave. The Hunters and the vampire go their way and the little wolf girl goes hers. A sigh escaped from the only human in the group as he ran a hand through his hair and glanced at Veroen, whom he was glad nodded at his request.
The hunter then chuckled at the mention of a fellow hunter shooting Meredith, an act Marcus was somewhat familiar with as he stole a glance at Kerrigan. At least I shot Kerrigan and not Meredith... The human amusingly thought as he turned to the wolf girl.
"Good. As for what's going on, don't worry about. Just a group of friend's chitchatting. As the lady said, just turn around and enjoy your coffee. Act like this never happened..." With that, Marcus turned his attention to his group and shrugged his shoulders.
"And I think it's time we leave as well. Seeing how we know we aren't going to go about killing each other, eh?" Marcus wore a strange smile on his face as he winked at Kerrigan before realizing his superior was present in the ally. "Er...that is if it's okay with Miss Jackson."

Veroen took his eyes off of the Lycan down the street, and laid them on Eden. Looking at her for the first time since he made that horrible discovery was much, much more comforting than any could have been for the moment.
He smiled at the corner of his mouth at her words, though his eye remained a deep black.
He walked up to her, forgetting about everyone else in the area for a few moments.
He blinked slowly, and smiled at her, and nodded silently.
He was more than happy to see her after what had occurred that night. Veroen was in a way traumatized inside, and the only one that could truly comfort him at that moment was her.

Rizu was getting impatient with all the talking, he had more or less come to the conclusion that this highly tense and iffy situation was coming to a close, if they were going to pop off they would have already. Rizu wanted to take comfort in the fact that he had just sniffed her out to be a third wolf but the fact that she seemed so friendly to the other two did not sit to well with him. Rizu decided that the best thing to do would be to cross the street and pretend as though he knew this girl, and calmly give her an excuse to leave, if they tried to stop them then that would be reason enough to turn this situation up all over again.
Rizu kicked off the wall and began trotting across the street and standing next to the very tense looking female, "Hey you, long time no see right?" He said giving her a short smile and a wave, hoping that she would catch on and play along, at least until they got out of this situation. What a night, momma said there would be days like this, she just didnt say how many.

Her bright eyes shifted to Markus, "Friends?" she shook her head and her eyes darted to Eden, she was lycan, one of her's, this made things even worse, she gritted her teeth and shook her head once more, "I'm sorry, but I can't see how this can be a simple," she paused, "A simple chitchat." she took a deep breath, and looked at Rizu with a smile, "Hey you." she knew she was screwing up her moment to leave safely, but she was too curious to back down. Her attention went back to the woman and she asked one question, "Why?" she frowned more, "And don't lie to me." she growled slightly, "Never, ever in my life have I seen one of our kind 'chit-chatting'." she looked at Markus for his choice of words, "Towards a hunter and a vampire."

Eden simply snorted at Marcus' comment to Kerrigan and gave Kerrigan a raised eyebrow that also suggested she suspected that something was up between the two. She wasn't going to mention anything aloud just now but she was relieved to see that Kerri was here since she trusted her as if she was a sister. Kerrigan had her back and they'd really banded together and bonded in order to lead the hunters and bring them together again. She owed Kerri a lot and she'd always kind of looked up to the vampiric huntress as a role model of sorts, funnily enough. "No need to worry about me. Sure I get to boss you around but you can do what you want. As for me, yeah. I do what I want so thanks for remembering that for me." She stuck her tongue out at the human hunter in an immature manner and turned as she saw Veroen approaching her with the hint of a smirk upon his features. This relieved her and gladdened her since she didn't want him to be dwelling in his anger over whatever had happened.
"Guess we will," she said to both Veroen and Marcus, "discuss all the bull s--t that went down at a later point in time?" She smiled at Veroen and decided to give him a big hug despite the fact that it was in front of quite a few people. By no means was she shy of showing affection for Veroen in front of her hunters and it did not change the fact that she was as battle-hardened as the rest of them and was able to switch gears in a moments notice if that was required of her. However, she was glad that this seemed to be clearing up and that no one was going to go home with cuts and bruises tonight. It was always nice when someone decided to have sense and try to avoid a fight as opposed to start one.

"Awwwwww..." Cooed the only human in the group as he gave a wink at Kerrigan before shrugging his shoulder. It was official. No one was going to get killed in this alleyway. At least, not now. Marcus stretched his arms a bit and looked at the group with a weary look and his classic crooked smile on his face. Adjusting his blue blazer, the Hunter began to walk off and away from the group.
"Alright. We'll discuss this sh*t at another time. For now...I'm thirsty. I'm headin' over to HQ for a beer. I'll remember to save you guys a seat should you join me." Pausing in midstep, Marcus turned and looked over to Veroen, a smile on his face. "Remember, man, you owe me a drink for ruining my last one." The man said in a tone of playfulness. Glancing over to Kerrigan, Marcus once more winked before turning his back to the crew and walking into the crowded streets of New York.

Veroen was caught off guard for a slight second by Eden's hug. He then hesitated, keeping his inner turmoil in check, before embracing her back in an affectionate way.
Oh how he loved embracing her in his arms.
He tuned everything else out for a few moments, making the hug last a tad bit longer than it should have.
He then opened his eye, and glanced over at Marcus, and grinned a little at his words.
"You got it mate." he said loud enough for Marcus to hear. He turned back to Eden with a smile.

Rizus eyes opened wide as he had to battle the earge to speak through his teeth and ask her what kind of death wish was she looking for. Rizu had already figured out what was going on, or at least he thought he did. These were obviously hunters. All of em, and they hunted Lycans. Even the one chick, Rizu was no coward but he was never one to ignore the obvious. If this situation went sour fighting would not be a practile option, no they would run. Seek public areas where the attack could not go down. Rizu faked a chuckle before continuing his ploy to get her to just leave, "were going to be late, you sure you dont wanna just go?" He questioned to her, his eyes sending waves of frustration as he did.
Rizu twitched abit, damit another. He could smell another cold blooded female near the area, this is what happened when so many of diffrent kinds were all together, it attracted others. The longer they waited the more and more out numbered they were getting. Rizu twisted his teeth inside his mouth, the female was wandering around aimlessly, obviously not as aware of the wind as the rest of the few here. Rizu sighed for a bit, he was ready to go.

Nightingale growled slightly and moaned in annoyance as she glanced back at Rizus, "We don't want to be late." she began to walk towards him with a last glance over her shoulder to the group, it was odd that a lycan, a vampire, and a hunter would gather in one place. She chewed on her lower lip, she'd leave it for now and she'd get back to it later.
