Ellie blinked, seeing her husband's exit only by his lack of not being nearby. Turning in her seat, she saw him over at the booth, and she sighed. Hissing a few things back and forth, Don finally convinced Ellie not to run after the 'emotional jealous over-reacting catboy.' "Don, don't be so mean." she hissed, letting out a small giggle. Had Bai always been this jealous? Oh well. Don murmured another joke, of which she started to laugh at, as she stood, but ended up laughing into his arm, and his other arm draping around her. He too laughed, as she lay like that, before sitting back again. "No, no. Behave!" He gave an evil-eyebrow-waggle, and reached out his hand to hers that was about to smack his arm, but caught it mid-air. Their fingers entwined, earning him another giggle, as she did not retrieve her hand.

Dread gurgled in Baizou's stomach. Every laugh sent icy daggers into his chest and every smile injected acid through his bloodstream. He fumbled around for a sketch book or something, but it seemed the table was fresh out. The kettle screamed and he ignored it. Perhaps she would tear herself away from lover-boy when the noise got loud enough. He sighed and rested his forehead on the table top.

Don broke first, seeing that Baizou would not move to the kettle. With a roll of his eyes, he withdrew his hand, and stuck out his tongue at her as he walked by. Slipping behind the bar to get it, he grinned at her. "Let me, m'lady." This made Ellie giggle, and shake her head, hating the honorific that he bestowed upon her. In record time the tea was fixed, and he set the cup on the bar next to her, before walking back around to her side. Giving a small bow from the waist, he straightened back up and put on his most serious face yet. "You are served, Elisan."
Ellie leaned over to give him a thankful peck on the cheek, before swirling her cup with the spoon he'd laid on the saucer. Motioning for him to sit back down, he did so, and sighed. "I know that sigh. You're happy to be with me here, aren't you, Don?" He nodded, laughing a little bit, as she sipped at the drink. "Ooh, you got it just right!" Crossing one leg over the other, her grin widened, and his eyebrows waggled again.

Baizou let a soft moan escape his lips. Damn it, why hadn't he thought of that. He clenched his hand and felt his wedding ring press into his palm. He relaxed his hand, stared down at it, and slipped it around on his finger. So, why was it there? Why wasn't on that other man's finger. He seemed to know her better. He seemed to make her smile more. He tapped his hand and finally slipped it off, toying with it between his fingers. He meant to put it back on, but he forgot and left it on the table top as he stood up. She even seemed to want to put her lips on him, more. He finished up his coffee and walked behind the bar, looking in the shine of the sink to fix his hair a little... As if he needed it.

As Don reached across to pinch her arm again, he paused. Bai didn't look so good. Sitting back, he nodded. "Glad you enjoy it. I am really glad to be here, yeah." Smiling, he swept his hair to the side, out of his face again, hands back on his bleached-out jeans.
Ellie sighed happily again, resting her chin in her hand after sipping at the tea. Blinking at her husband, she winked with a small smile. "Hey, what's wrong?" Her voice was as happy as ever, and eyes twinkled innocently, as she swatted way another one of Don's pinching fingers to her leg.

Baizou looked up at Ellie for a few moments. He turned an apologetic look to Don, who was really a victim of circumstance. He stepped up to Ellie and sighed, "Many things." He began, crossing his arms. "Why don't you smile at me like that. I don't think you've laughed like that since you were in your old body. You seem to want to kiss him more than you've ever wanted to kiss me. And I'm beginning to wonder why you even botherd with me when he obviously makes you much happier!" He shook his head and rubbed his forehead. "You kept going on about how perfect I was but I see that there are men leagues better than I am! You were so rushed to leave me a few nights ago." He slumped his shoulders, "I'm sorry. That just sort of came out."

Ellie rolled her eyes, and stood, placing a hand on Don's shoulder. "You should go for now. Thank you for today, and I'll be sure to come see you by Wednesday." With a small peck to each cheek, a friendly goodbye, Don hopped up and left before any of Ellie's temper boiled over. "Baizou, do not even start with me. You have no idea what he is to me, and you hardly understand this situation at all. Jumping to conclusions? Who do you think you are? You and Don are totally different people. I love you, not him! Get used to it!" Her temper was barely bubbling, as her hands gripped the barstool. "Do not get yourself involved where you don't belong. It's not what you think."

"Who do I think I am? I'm your husband, Elisan." He replied, arms crossed, "Where I don't belong?" Baizou asked, mouth agape. "I thought I belonged in your life! So, tell me! Where am I allowed to 'belong'?" He questioned, "So, what is this relationship if it's not what I think it is? I mean, of course you should have friends, so don't think I'm saying you shouldn't. But this is no friend. You didn't even introduce me!" He turned around, took a deep breath, and came back, "Why can you laugh so easily around him? I just... I'm feeling like all you want anymore is romance... Which is great, but I feel like it's all you keep me around for! When was the last time you took me out to coffee or just... Shared a joke with me?" His ears went limp, "I'm probably just imagining this or something stupid."

Ellie took a deep breath, feeling like she'd rather pull out her hair or scream, than talk at the moment. After a few brief pauses, she glared at him. "Excuse me for thinking we needed a little romance in our relationship. You want me to stop? Fine! I won't even touch you! Better, now, you insecure fool?!" Her nostrils flared a little bit, lips thinning as her anger bubbled. "He is Don. I did introduce you, or were you too busy being jealous of a gay man to realize it?! See! He didn't want you to know, and I have known him so long that I wanted to stay true to that. But, what have you done, Baizou? Your insecurities are making me lose respect to other people because you can't handle me being happy." Crossing her arms, she stood, blood pulsing quite angrily.

"That's not what I meant and you know it, so stop playing games." Baizou retorted, rolling his eyes. "And of course I'm insecure! Or did you forget about the two times you died before I could help you or the time you were raped because I was too stupid to stay home and protect you. Or the time you decided to leave me because you didn't think I could love you. Of course I'll be proactive because I can't lose you again! Don't you get it? There isn't a word in existence in any language that can sum up the love I have for you. I live for you. I'm obsessed with you! You are beyond precious." His posture seemed to crumble the more he spoke. "I wish I could tear open my brain and show you just how much you mean to me. I guarentee it would blow your mind because you certainly blow me away!" He was half romantic, half frustrated and it all came out in this odd tone of voice that was intense, but not pleading. "Yes, Ellie. I'm very insecure."

Ellie's posture shrunk more and more with every word he spoke, driving the guilt into her, like a stake into her heart. Nodding feebly, she managed a small stumble backward, biting her lip. "I.. I am so much trouble... Look what I've done to you. I.. Baizou, I really never think about it all. He is my best friend besides my brother and Cassanova, and he has a boyfriend, okay? I didn't realize that you would be so freaked out and.. and... Say those things." It was hard to choke out anymore words, as tears started to fall, and her lip started the quiver that created a really annoying warble in her voice, making it impossible to sound normal. She blinked a few times, before rushing off to the stairs, quickly hurrying up them, stifling audible sobs.

Making a mental note to profusely apologize to Don... Perhaps not with coffee. That may make his boyfriend jealous. He didn't need more jealousy. "Oh, Ellie!" Baizou cried as he ran after her. He paused before he got to the steps, rembered to look at his hand, dashed back to the table to get his ring, and dashed up the stairs to his wife, "Ellie, Ellie." He said as he caught her by the arm. "It was wrong of me to not get the whole story. I should have tried to get to know him instead of seething." He murmured, ears limp. It all made sense, now. "I feel really foolish, actually." He admitted, blushing. "I must have really insulted him."

Ellie ended up pulled by his arm, and turning into his chest, where she sobbed against him, arms clinging feebly. "I don't mean," pause, sob, "to make you," pause, sob, "put up with so much." She sniffled quite pathetically, and drew her arm across her nose, wiping it unceremoniously. "I'm so sorry... I love you. I must look so gross right now..." Wiping at her nose again, she rubbed off any tears taht were still streaming down her face, puffy eyes looking sadly up at him.
