Rintala ninja Did you know that titanium bends really easily compared to most other metal? Only reason why it's so "strong" is that it doesn't break as easily smile Learned that today on the history channel. Hence why they mix it with other metals to make titanium-alloy. Also, compared to all other metals, titanium is the most heat resistance. I.E Titanium plates on the underside of the Space Shuttle and Xol's gauntlets. mrgreen

My god, could you imagine that?! It's only suppose to weigh like 2 pounds. The only thing not going to be titanium will be the fire pin and a reenforce lineing on the chamber and barrel, those will have to be steel like they have been in the past. But normally magnums are big and heavy, now they're going to be light enough for a child, a really, really, small child to pick up!

The heavy weight of a magnum is to counterbalance the intense kick of the bullet being fired. When the muzzle velocity of your gun is hitting 3000+ mph you don't want it to be light. That means the force from the shot fired will likely rip your arm out of socket or slam into your face sweatdrop
