"I can't sand it! I'm leaving!" she ran to her corner and picked up all she had and ran out the back door. She prefered the fear of being hunted down than to be attacked in her own home.
((sorry, sleep time. bye bye!))

The outburst bothers Trina, the water clearing away carelessly as Trina followed Yule to the back door. Should she do something? Yule was a full grown adult...she had the right to make her won decisions...but still...she had been so upset... Trina pulled each knife from the wall, setting them in the sink. Her arm hurt, and so did the back of her neck still. Finally, Trina decided to jsut leave the woman be, going upstairs to sleep.

Ellie strolled in, laughing the most she had in weeks. "No! No- I.." The shorter woman had to pause for laughter, as she held the door open. "It wasn't like that at all! He's a doll, really. You'll see. C'mon in, now." Perhaps more odd than Ellie so happy and tittery was the person who popped right in behind her, carrying a few bags of the shopping-sort.
Stepping in was a man right about six feet tall, with straight cut bleached out jeans, and a black button-down shirt, untucked. He set the bags down near the door, smiling, stormy blue eyes shining like the perfect smile he bore. "Of course not. No, I can't judge him before I meet him. Besides, if he picked a wife like you," At this, Don reached out and tweaked Ellie's nose, earning a small giggle and swat at his hand, "he must be fairly decent in taste. Er, of personality, of course. I mean, he didn't marry this body, yes? But, he got the whole package now, didn't he?!"
His teasing earned him a hit on the arm, and a sticking out of her tongue. "Oh, shush, you! I was pretty before, too!" Beckoning him over to the bar, both of them plopped down, her slightly facing him. Her male-friend sat, hands on his knees as he looked at her, thoughtful eyes shining and hair side swept, just begging her to go on and say something. According to the way he acted, it was like everything she said was wonderful! It entertained Ellie, nonetheless, as she too smiled her brightest, hands folded in her lap.

Baizou trotted downstairs, "Love?" He called, ears perked. He had his hair pulled back and a pair of snug, but not tight, jeans. It was a little chilly, so he was wearing a light long-sleeved shirt under a deep red t-shirt. "I heard your voice." He said, indicating that his ducky senses were tingling. He walked up to her and slid his arms around her, kissing her neck. He glanced over at the new male and smiled politely, "Evening, sir. Can I get you anything?"

Don blinked up, offering Baizou a small smile. "How about a drink for this fine young lady?" Ellie reached across and jabbed his shoulder, giving him 'Cut-it-out-' playful eyes. Don only laughed at this, and shook his head. "Nothing for me, I am just fine with getting to talk to Little-Miss-Married-Woman over here. I still cannot believe that! After all this time!" Don settled his hands on his knees after jabbing her shoulder back, only a bit lighter than she had.
Ellie shook her head again, laying back against her husband. "Oh? Okay then! A milk and honey tea would be nice, love." Shaking her head in response to Don, she giggled again. "I know! After all that time, right? Ahh, well. Things do happen. You knew I wanted to settle down ever since I had to keep so busy with Tal all the time." In response, he nodded knowingly, giving his hair a small flick, and giving another million-dollar-smile.

Baizou's ears dropped. Who dared order a drink for his wife? He smiled, though, and kissed Ellie's cheek before drawing away. "You... have known Ellie long?" He asked, setting the kettle on the stove. He leaned against the bar and set his eyes on Don. "Because she has not mentioned you once." He murmured, more to himself than anyone.

Don blinked at Ellie, as if feeling hurt by her husband's murmurings. She only shook her head with a smile, and a small roll of her eyes. "Oh, don't be coy, Baizou. I'm sure there are plenty of things you have not mentioned to her. No, no. I am sorry." Extending his hand, and giving a small nod, Don grinned again. "I am Don, a baker from Ellie's 'part of town'."
At this, Ellie only smiled more, with a small, almost dreamy sigh. "Don is not any old baker, in fact." Poking one of Don's pinking cheeks, she leaned against the bar happily. Nodding to Bai, though her eyes stayed on Don, she let one of her more-true smiles slip across her face contently. "In fact, his pistachio muffins are the best thing I have ever eaten, and I'd go back every day just to eat one. If not to see that cute face." This caused both of them to erupt in laughter, Don hitting her arm, and his cheeks flushing pink. She shook her head again, as they tried to contain their laughter, and failing terribly.

Baizou bit his lower lip for a second. He reminded himself to study more cookbooks. He gazed up at Ellie, expression totally unreadable as he studied her smile and the sound of her laugh. The way her eyes seemed to disregard his existence. If this man made her so happy, why was he even here? He instantly shoved the dreadful thought from his mind and warmed up the honey so it dissolved better. "Glad to hear you are such good friends." He said softly.

Ellie watched Baizou for a moment, pity and guilt swelling up within her, saddening her immensly. But, she was brought back to reality, when Don pinched her arm, and she swatted at him again. "Stop it! You tease." This made them both start to laugh again, as she let her arm rest on the bar, and prop up her head.
Don rolled his eyes, one hand reaching over to trail up her arm that had landed on the bar. "I think you are the tease, silly one." He made a facial expression, trying to impress a girly sort of pout of his lip, and started to laugh again.
Ellie leaned forward, pecking his nose, and poking his chin, as if drawing it up to her face. "Oh, really?" Sitting back once more she started to laugh again, as Don, once again, rolled his eyes. Waving a dismissive hand, he only laughed more when she gave her best 'pouty lip'. Finally subduing her girly giggles, she smiling at her husband with an intensity that almost seemed dull to her expression moments ago. "How was your day, love? We spent all day in town.. Getting coffee, shopping.. Sorry it took so long!" Her eyes shined innocently, as Don sat back, watching her with glittering, proud eyes.

Baizou frowned as he watched them, filling his mug with coffee. She didn't laugh like that for him. And when was the last time she asked him to coffee? "I'm glad you enjoyed your day." he said, swaying his tail slowly. He abandoned his tea making and walked past them to sit in Ellie's booth. He didn't want to make a scene, but he didn't like the way he felt... replaced.
