Cody turned back to look at Kai and said, "By the time you have gotten used to Aqua, you're gonna be best friends with Altaria. You can use her anytime you want. Plus, she seems to like you alot." Flygon turned is head to look back at Kai and they both smiled. "Alright Flygon, let's practice some spins." The Dragon Type nodded and spun in the air a couple times. "That was good, but you have to clean up your transitions between each spin." Cody instructed. "How ya doin back there?" he called to Kai.

"Ok, well the volcano is just up here. There is something inside that I have been wanting to check out for a long time so i hope you're ready." Cody explained. "This is what we're gonna do. You're going to have to hop on Flygon's back with me to enter the volcano. We will go as deep as we can get or at least until we find what I'm looking for. Hopefully, we won't run into any Dragon or Fire Types, but if we do feel free to catch one."

"What?!?!? enter the volcano???? no way!" Kai said, he did not want to get hurt badly or worse if the fire hit him.

"Nothing's gonna happen. Flygon will protect you and I will send out Claydol just in case. Believe me." Cody reassured him as Flygon flew faster until they finally reached the volcano. Flygon landed at the base and looked around. Like always, random Fire Types, big and small, were running around. Cody returned Flygon waited for Kai to land.

Altaria was about to land, about 10 feet high, when Kai jumped down to the gorund, he landed on his feet and quickly went down to one knee to brace himself. Altaria landed next to him.

"MADDY! YAY!" Cody shouted. He ran up to her and squeezed her tightly. "Nah, you're not late." He returned Altaria and congratulated her on a job well done. "Feel free to fight a fire type or two and possibly catch it before we head up." he told his groupies.

"Right" said Kai, holding his Pokeball he spotted a nice Charmander he could catch. "Go! Carvanha!" He yelled, as his pokemon came out, the battle began. Carvanha went first with aqua jet atack, ramming into Charmander and kncoking it back. Charmander came in with slash but Carvahna bit Charmander's hand. Charmander used ember, doing barely any damage. Carvanha used aqua jet one more time, making Charmander walk around in circles from all the damage it took. Kai threw his Pokeball.
Once. Twice. Three times. Click! Charmander was caught.

Slowpoke yawned as it was released from its ball to fight the Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil yawned in return before attacking with a Flamethrower. Slowpoke retaliated with a Water Pulse before the tiny fire type fell into a deep slumber. Slowpoke yawned again before finally feeling the effects of the Flamethrower. Its body feeling the heat of the flames. In fear, a Water Gun was thrown at the Fire Type. Ginji looked at his limited Ball inventory before tossing an Aqua Ball at the Cyndaquil. One. Two. Three. DING, the little bugger was caught.
"Ghost types...hm...we'd probably have to head to one of the main islands." Ginji answered.

Maddy released Bubblez from his spherical prison, the Wartortle happy to be free and ready to fight. She also released Jocasta, her proud and majestic Charmeleon, which immediately found a nice flat rock and continued on to file her claws. Maddy just sighed slightly. Then, suddenly, two Pokémon approached her from either side, a Flareon and a Bagon.
Bubblez fired a freezing Ice Beam at Bagon, the dragon yelping as the ice, like cold sharp daggers, bit at its skin. Bagon countered, bashing its head against Bubblez' shell-covered stomach, dealing decent damage. Bubblez pushed the little dragon away by firing a steady torrent of bubbles at it. Bagon was panting for breath, and Maddy took advantage of the opportunity and threw an Aqua Ball at it, the exhausted little dragon being absorbed into its clutches.
Shake...
Shake...
Shake...
... Ding!
Maddy picked up the contraption that held her new partner, and turned to watch Jocasta, as the vicious Charmeleon leapt at Flareon, slashing it with her deadly sharp claws. Flareon yelped and on instinct shot a jet of white-hot flame at Jocasta. Jocasta puffed up her chest and shot an equally hot and brilliant jet of flame at Flareon. Both attacks did almost nothing to faze each Pokémon. Then, Flareon jumped forward and latched onto Jocasta's arm with its sharp teeth. Jocasta bashed the Poké over the head with a powerful Brick Break, knocking Flareon into a state of unconsciousness. Maddy walked back to join the others.

"What do you mean, main islands?" Cody asked as a Chimchar appeared. Cody sent out Dratini to fight the small pokemon. Chimchar dug underground to confuse Dratini. The Dragon Type looked around, but didn't see anything until the little pokemon popped up behind it and hit her. Dratini shot back with Aqua Tail and smacked Chimchar hard, sending it flying. Chimchar was barely able to stand after the attack but still attacked with Ember. Dratini sent out a Thunder Wave paralyzing the small pokemon. Cody sent out a pokeball. The small Fire Type was absorbed by the ball. It shook once. Twice. Three times. *Bing* The pokemon was caught. "Ready to head up guys?" Cody said to the group as he started his ascent up the mountain.
