The hardest part is not making them look like someone you'd hate to have to deal with. At least that's the hard part for me.
Most of my characters look like idiots when they try to argue summut. ^^

I guess the multiple peronality disorder would be the best bet to use as a refference point.
Arguing is a difficult task, because sometimes your character is smarter or dumber than you are.
Cedric and Jarlaxle should be very good at thinking.
Tarathiel not so much.
Gil not at all. Gil's dog is smarter than him.

Gogeta, Dragon Ball (suffix here) Series. Vegeta and Goku fused together into one person.
Keeping in character bounds. Lovely aspect of RPing.

Okay, i thought it was DB related. But I've only watched some two eps. In english. ANd hated every second of it. ^^ So I wouldn't know.
Isn't it though?
That's why I dont' play with the imps a whole whole lot. It's hard to be funny like that all the time.

Don't hate dragon ball z just because there is no plot, the entire series can be summerized in less than one minute only using display posters, and the fact that three out of four fights start and end five episodes apart with the greater portion of it nothing actually being acomplished...
Ok, there are alot of good reasons to hate DBZ.
But Krillin. Com'on, you got a love Krillin. Because you know, he's cool.

Understandable. Keeping character when everyone around you has a more downbeat mood is horribly trying.

That's why we roll dice while playing them, and hope for bad luck so when they die we can make an angsty caracter that seems to fit in twith the crowd better. NO matter how much that cocky self absorb pretty efl is.
