sweatdrop I never watched much of the older cartoons x.x didn't have cable growing up :blink: but to be honest I don't think my parents liked them much anyway

I love looking at the coloration... the heavy black outlines and the 2D colors.. and yet they always manage to make the characters look round!
The backgrounds are either amazingly detailed or such a simple mix of contrasting colors that they work. There are no shadows and no highlights, and yet you never think that you are looking at a flat image!
It is so very amusing to compare the cartoons from my childhood to the ones that they are making currently sweatdrop I like to say that it is all in the interest of my BA in Fine Arts, and I am just studying the work.. but truth be told, I just really like these things xp they make good background noise while I am working on some art of my own 3nodding

xd I think I'm too much of detail whore, I love the battle scenes in most of todays anime and animation so much 4laugh Seeing all the little bits of cloth move...;_; gets me high.

Kana leaves for the great state of Minnessota later today. So...
I will try to get lots of pictures of Josh doing silly things (while avoiding pictures myself). Hopefully we'll have some chances to pop online and say hello to everyone with the web cam again.
Ed, I know you're backreading, I hope to catch you online with the webcam again to say hello. ^_^
