Today was the first day the Cedar Park Library Fable Fest. It was kind of like a min Renaissance fair for kids as a donation drive. People set up booths with little games, arts and crafts, and food.
My anime club was running a Asian snack stand selling coconut pies, panda cookies, pocky, plum candies, sweet bread, and such. We also had a bag of those water tattoos and a dragon coloring page for free.

The booth was run by Sarah White, our anime club hostess.

She bought all the snacks and printed off Japanese fables for every one to read.
I did my part by dressing up a Kitsune and pitch the sweets to all passer-buyer.

I wished I had white wig to go with the outfit, however the only options I had that I could find on short notice was a old man beard and hair (like Santa). So instead I tried using white hair spray, but didn't turn out so good, should had have some one help my apply it.
And Oddly enough, my fox mask scared a lot of kids, so I had to take it off while the kids where around. Some people did stop me to take a photo while I was walking around. Next time, I should try to just get a wig and fox ears.
The snacks sold pretty well, we sold two boxes of chocolate panda cookies and pocky. The Sweet bread didn't sell well, party because I think it spoiled in the sun. I say that because the cream to it had a taste like you get from the smell of nail polish. The saddest part was that Sarah had bought 3 buckets of this candy called "sweet Happiness"

Each bucket had like 60 of them, and we sold them 4 for 1 ticket. but we sold a total of 20 out of all the buckets. I though they where pretty good, but people seem to hate it.
But it's a learning experience, and we'll be better prepared for next years.
Still a lot of fun.
