At some point, I thought I had some UPG and maybe understood something about YHWH and the relationship with ha-satan.
I guess it's fine to say that. The U is Unverified, after all, right?
I guess that UPG was not valid.
I'm not sure where this leave me. Well, back in "grr" land... well, I guess that sounds aggressive... it's more... disappointment? I guess it's disappointment with myself more than anything else though. *sigh*
I wonder if I really want to understand now =/

I feel like I'm ignorant of my religion and what's worse is that I feel like a "buffet" Christian. I believe this is just depression and other events creating this feeling but I don't know if my feeling is legit. Yes I do realize that there is much, much that I do not know and that I'm still growing. I guess I'm still having "growing pains" in my shift from what I was taught to my current faith.

Growing pains are good. They hurt for a time, yes, but they do what they're called - you grow. I highly recommend stepping back, if you can, and analyzing the feelings. Try and peg them for certain as a legit criticism, or you just allowing other parts of life to leak in. Find out what you need, and grow.

Examine this for a moment.
If you wanted to be completely knowledgeable about Christendom, you would have to shove the works of hundreds or thousands of Christians written in a given century into each year of your life to this point.
Is that really reasonable?
I'd say no. What is reasonable is the critical examination of what is before you and the mutual invitation expressed by the Holy Spirit to explore that which is Sacred.
