Kojiro looked on as the door opened to see a cheerful Serena in front of him, he opened his mouth he was dragged into the room, he looked at her with a surprised glance, he stumbled along as he followed her pull. He finally regained his balance and looked around with a startled glance,"...H-Hai!" he sputtered as he lightly plopped on the couch, Rikka jumped from his pocket and hopped onto his lap, then looked over on the couch and joined in trying the cushions, she stretched and made herself much more comfortable than the ice owl. He looked towards Serena and bowed lightly,"...Th-Thank you for inviting me!" he said shakily, still not used to her behavior sometimes, and unable to act quickly enough to show he was not clueless...proving exactly that all the time. Kojiro looked down hoping to get some reassurance from his feline companion, only to look down on the foolish kitten rolling and stretching. Kojiro looked up and smiled nervously. Regrettably he ran out of words quickly, and this only fueled his awkward mannerisms.

((TFP---Serena))
“Still acting so formal despite the fact I often ask for you to join me for dinner. Ah Kojiro…you make me feel awkward at times~” Serena feigned hurt in a rather showy manner before grinning. “Seriously, don’t thank me every time I invite you over. You make me out to be a good person when I am actually very bad” The white haired woman wagged her index finger playfully while she rested her other hand on a hip. Pouting like a miserable school girl, Serena returned to the kitchen to place a few pots on simmer before they boiled over. “How have you been lately Kojiro? You seem the same as before…but I get the feeling you are trying to hide something from me. Heh, I may just be over thinking things…but…I am usually very good at reading others emotions and thoughts. Of course, I suppose even I may make mistakes at times.” The vanishing Owl stepped back into the living room with two chilled glasses of water. She handed one to Kojiro and smiled.
Since a small child Serena had always had the knack to tell what was on a person’s mind and she always put it to use in her own favour. Of course, Kojiro was a different case…he was someone she held dear to her heart. It was up to the Frozen Owl to tell her what was on his mind and even when she knew…Serena was not going to use it against him even if it would help her out with her current contract. “Hmm…what to do….Ah! Let’s switch on the TV!” Serena grabbed the remote and hit the on button…instead of being greeted with the news she was greeted with a panting three headed dog. Forgetting who was with her for a moment, Serena grinned and laughed at the hellhound’s appearance. She stopped laughing and hit the off button and turned with a sheepish grin to face Koji.
“On second thought…how about we do something else…” The question was what could they do? They could make use of all the weapons that Serena had hidden away…cops and robbers anyone? “Oh….do you know how to play the piano? If not, let me teach you.” They still had some time before the meat was fully cooked so passing it at the piano was probably the better idea…as supposed to watching Cerberus dart around on the TV barking ‘Kitteh!’ and ‘Bunneh!’
Serena took Kojiro by the hand gently and led the way to the object that was used the most in her home. She sat down on the bench and pulled Kojiro to sit down next to her. “Cosy right?” She was of course referring to the cushioned bench…not the fact that they were now seated quite close to each other. “Let me hear what you can do. That’s if…you can do anything.” If the Frozen Owl knew Serena well enough…like Cerbs he may also pick up the fact that she was currently plagued with troubling thoughts of her own. Of course, she would play the arrogant woman and refuse to share with him. That was until she spoke again “Hey Koji…What would you say if I asked for you to run away from here with me?”
((UNS---Daryle))
Daryle smiled when Ember stated she wouldn’t mind a taste of all the suggestions he had laid down for her a few moments back. The blonde breezy male leaned his head on an open palm and surveyed the fire Herald in silence for a few moments. He was sure she would not harm this quiet little town nor would she turn on him. Daryle had given her no reason to do any of those things. However, once he was fully under the influence of alcohol…that may change. “Well, it seems you would be happy to share in my company. I shall oblige and escort you for the rest of this day…” When Ember handed over an impressive amount of Japanese currency, Daryle raised an eyebrow. How on earth had a girl who had spent a few nights sleeping on a beach been able to accumulate such a sum? Nevertheless, Daryle had learned before that sometimes it was best to leave some questions unanswered. “My day is pretty much free. I was simply out gathering random gifts for friends and loved ones. I can have them dropped off…For I have found an interesting person who seems like more fun than shopping.”
Ember gave Daryle the words that meant he was to lead on. Of course he was, for she had no clue how to get by in such a place. After dialling a certain brat to come and collect his things (Tai) Daryle took Ember by her arm as any gentleman would and led the way out of the small old fashioned bar. “It has been a while since I last indulged in a good drink so forgive me if I act inappropriately.” That was a minor statement. When Daryle was drunk he was anything but breezy. He became the person he had been in his younger years. A fighter who enjoyed tormenting people and highly skilled in the art of murder, of course, he has changed over the years but that side of him was always there waiting to surface….this is where the alcohol stepped in.
Thirty minutes had passed and Daryle had finally brought himself and Ember to a fine looking club. He paid the small entrance fee and smiled brightly towards his read headed companion. “This is just one stop. There are plenty of other places which we should sample on out little tour/adventure.” Inside music was playing, a mixture of J-Pop and classic English songs. Daryle made sure that Ember was seated before heading to the bar to grab some drinks. With a sly smile he asked for the drinks to be placed on William DeScythes tab. “Hmm...While I am at it I may as well ask that you place all the drinks we have tonight on the same tab. Hehehe…” Daryle was not exactly in the frame of mood that requested he cared for the consequences of his actions. The results can all wait until the morning. With a neat little twirl, the blonde male danced his way back to where Ember sat in a pretty cool kind of way. Unlike a certain Shadow controller, Daryle was not one to constantly dance or bop his way around town. Although in a fight Daryle has been known to use flashy dance moves to evade an attack. Dancing helps out in the strangest of ways. “So Ember. Now we have music and atmosphere, do you care to dance? Or are you happy drinking the night away before the random bar fight that I am actually starting to expect you to have?.”

Moli's light blue eyes seemed to be transfixed on a object off in the vast, vast distance. In reality, Moli's attention wasn't focused on anything in particular. The wind blew over him sending ashes from his already stamped out cigarette blowing in the wind like coals. He wasn't a man of superstition, but even he could tell from that that something was around the corner. It wasn't just Christmas either. With the progress of TFP and the UNS, it seemed as though there was no longer anything he nor his team could do to quell the upcoming war. Nothing at all. Needless to say, this made the blonde feel like crap. At the end of all of this, he only hoped that they wouldn't be forced into hiding. Moli already had his share of being hidden. He didn't want it to happen again.
Returning to the house that he and Lucien just happened to appear at, he noticed the guy standing around looking. Moli already knew how the man's mind worked. Like a auto-functioning calculator or something like that. Part of him didn't want to bother the man, but the other part knew that as long as they were with each other, they'd have to help. He hated the thought of it, but he knew only he could get them from point A to point B within the blink of an eye. "Lucien," Moli called over to the new and improved Death Owl. "Hey, Lucien. What if I told you I knew where Roulin was and that I could get you to him in less than fifteen minutes? And is something wrong? You got a plan or something dude?"

"That's quite the line of questions Moli." Lucien said as he turned around to see Moli. He listenned calmly before responding. "Alright, in that order: Yes I would like to see Roulin again, I have a feeling he needs to talk, he's reminding me of myself, my old self, it's not a road he needs to go down. Next no there is nothing wrong, I'm thinking. I've been told quite a few times that when I think I look sad, or depressed, or angry, or some variation of those three feelings." He rubbed his thumb and index finger together creating a charge, he could feel the electrical power, he needed to disperse small quantities of energy or it would just build up. "As for the final question yes I do have a plan, but my plan and your plan of the future diverge greatly. I want to ruin the world, I plan to create a catastrophe so magnificent that the world will turn against me, unite under a common enemy then I will reside myself to whatever the world sees fit. What better way to bring the world together then by having them all share a hand in the destruction of a monster?" He said as he folded his arms. "But of course I have no intention of dragging anyone down with me, this is my plan and one i will carry fully out on my own, but for now I need support that's where you all come in."

Nik chuckled at Anya's retort and got to his feet as she did. He supposed she was right that only someone crazy wouldn't think hearing voices was crazy. He grinned and asked, "Well then, what would you like me to cook for you? You name it, I'll make it." He spun around once and headed for the door, opening it and bowing, saying to Anya, "After you." He followed her out of the room and headed down into the kitchen to start preparing whatever it was that Anya would want to eat. As he did, he said, seeing Elle had left, "I suppose my cooking was satisfactory, though it would have helped to have input..." Nik started using his shadows to pull out various utensils required for preparing food. He was also going to prepare his own lunch, so his shadows immediately got started on that, while he waited for Anya's request.
=====
Nika smiled at Danny's worrying, realizing he could probably see through her excuses. In truth, she was tired, she was sore, stiff and aching from her injuries in Rome. She waved her hand in dismissal and replied, "I'm fine Danny, just tired is all. I've probably been overdoing it for the past week. No worries though, I can still kick a** if necessary." She chuckled lightly and nudged Danny with her shoulder. Despite what she said, Nika really was tired, and didn't feel up to anything more than relaxing on the couch and watching movies. She didn't even feel like cleaning or customizing her guns, which was a rarity indeed. "What movies should we watch? I'm thinking we could have a George A. Romero marathon; starting with Night of the Living Dead, then go to Dawn of the Dead, then Land of the Dead, Diary of the Dead wasn't that good so we can skip it, but I suppose you'll want to watch Survival of the Dead won't you?" Nika listed off the movies they were going to watch, they would probably only get through about half of them before one of them fell asleep, and with the number of painkillers Nika was on, it would probably be her.

Of course Kate knew that Will wasn't just any old pest. He had helped them in the war so many many times now, no matter how little it seemed. As such, Kate's calling him a pest instead of an obscenity was in a sense showing that she had that knowledge. Instead of voicing this to Che though, Kate kept that to herself. She figured that he would figure out all of that on his own in due time if he didn't know about it already. "It will only remain a secret so long as you keep your mouth shut and not even allude to something of the sort." Kate replied flatly. "And as for this 'game', why should I even participate in such a thing? You have not mentioned one idea that will keep me motivated long enough to entertain the concept." she added, turning away from Che and giving his idea of this game a sarcastic sneer. She wanted to make it clear that if it wasn't a very good reason for her to participate that she would refuse to comply with the rules of this so-called 'game' that Che had randomly come up with, just like every other idea Che had of this nature. "Oh? So you think I am in the way, then? Perhaps I should just stay silent and smile while the my elders start talking business. I am not a child, Che. I am perfectly capable of contributing."
==
Erin blinked and stared at Roulin in surprise after hearing his response. "Didn't you hear what I said? If it wasn't clear enough, I can try explaining it a different way. My sister and I: we are merely beings genetically altered by humans through nanotechnology to have special abilities. That may seem like the description of an Owl to you, but it shouldn't be taken that way. We don't have birth parents, like you had with Che and your mother. We weren't 'born' like most humans. We were... created in an isolated scientific setting. But even though Elle and I are different in most essential ways from humans, I believe that we are just people like both Owls and humans. That is why I'm resisting that programming right now. I don't want to follow the purpose someone else lined out for me and kill all the people I've met and formed bonds with. You and I, even Bailey as well, already have that non-volatile bond, no matter how small it might be. Because of that, we have the chance to start making that bond of friendship grow."
As she was saying all of this, the three of them were already back at the motel, entering their room. Well, it couldn't really be considered a room. It was more like living in a decaying and decrepit hovel. Roaches, rats, and mice all used this room as a passageway through the walls of the building. While Erin herself didn't like the conditions one bit, just like Roulin and Bailey, she had tolerated it so far. However, Erin also wished that they could move to a hotel that was... cleaner, for lack of a better word. A couple of seconds after she had finished her little speech, Bailey nearly jumped as a roach ran right in front of her feet. She didn't really like the fact that Roulin basically made fun of Bailey for her fear of the insects, but Erin said nothing about it. Before she could expect any sort of response from Roulin to what she had said not even three minutes ago, the Life Owl was already on the motel phone, apparently calling a different hotel to get a better room. With a light sigh, Erin turned away from Roulin and Bailey, who had just released a mouse back out to the actual natural world outside using her vectors, and stared out through the window in silence.

"I don't really care what it is, so long as its edible and won't make me throw up." Anya replied to Nikolai's question about what she wanted to eat for lunch. She rolled her eyes at his antics and basically making her go through the bed room door first. They then proceeded downstairs to the kitchen and living room again. Elle, it seemed had gone out, but as long as she returned, Anya didn't really care where the technopath went. She simply shrugged in response to Nik's reaction to Elle's absence. "I'll just have whatever it is that you're going to have." The Poison Owl stated as she sat down in a chair at the table to wait.

Moli couldn't say he agreed with the plot that Lucien had put together in his head, but he could agree that something was wrong with his younger brother Roulin. If Lucien was fearful of Roulin's evolution, then yes, surely there was something wrong. Contemplatively, the pre Herald folded his arms over his chest, then rubbed his brow. This wasn't going to be easy and he knew it. In his deep blue eyes were shimmering twinkles of both hope and doubt for the two Owls, Life and Death. He was just a radioactive man and his brother was the essence of Life. Moli only hoped that he could talk some sense into the man that was clearly of higher priority.
"Your plan.....it's not a smart one Lucien. Not if you have people to help you through it," said Moli once his sapphire orbs sat upon the raven haired man. Tugging at the collar of his dark brown, turtleneck sweater, Moli exhaled in remorse. In the back of his mind, part of this, he thought, could be blamed on himself. As an older brother, he knew that he didn't fulfill his role as he should've. If he had, then just maybe Roulin wouldn't be this way. "Your plan is the most efficient way, but it's going to take lives you know? What if Humans end up hating Owls even more dude? We'll have more problems on our hands? And if you don't mind me asking Lucien, what do you foresee if Roulin continues down this path? I know what he's doing is of good intentions, but it's just like your plan. It'll get too many people killed in the end..."
~~~
"As long as I keep quiet huh? Ma'am, I think I understand my role. Whether or not you do...is the problem. For you," replied Che as the door to the hotels opened up. They were automatic, just as the lazy Owl preferred it. Little did Kate know, his arm around her was both out of love and out of the desire to not carry his own weight. The woman didn't need to know that though. As they approached the elevator, Che smiled at his own reflection. Well groomed, well dressed, but still missing the large tuft of hair that once sat neatly atop his skull. Kate may not have liked it....no one may have liked it except for his son, but he did and he missed it so. For now, his natural, old Italian person look would have to do....
"Well.....think about it lovely. If you play this game, and bet of course, then you'll have an incentive to keep your distaste for Will silent. He won't bother you if you don't bother him. Second....c'mon. There's money involved. Not that you care, but still, it's something to have. You can buy shoes and purses with it. Russian girls like shoes and purses right?" Of course, Che was by no means a sexist, but when speaking to Kate, statements like that were only to get a reaction. When she voiced her opinion on contributing ideas to their meeting, the Mastering Owl placed a kiss on the Russian girl's pale cheek and pressed the elevator's lift button. "I don't love things that are in the way usually...I try to kill them. And I didn't say you couldn't contribute! By all means, speak your mind.....just keep the part of it that only spits bad things quiet and things will go smoooooothlyyyyy. Alright? Now be a dear and hit five for us please."
"You're absolutely right, but who will sympathize with Death? besides when I get to the main part of my plan there will be no 'we' I will take control once I've completed the first two phases of the plan. As for human lives there are over 6 billion, no matter how hard I try I couldn't kill everyone if a few thousand must die to save the billions of others then so be it. I can assure you I've thought that part through. Human's will not turn on Owls if I am working alone, I will be the lone extremist who kills without distinction, it's hard to place the blame on Owls when just as many of them will line the streets as humans." He didn't pretend that this plan sounded pleasant, or that he sounded like a modern version of Satan himself, but he understood that he needed to be this way as Moli had said his plan was the most affective, but the prices were just as high.
"If Roulin continues down the path he's going he will lose himself to his power, I can't see him wildly killing people but he'll become similar to Thomas, tyrannical yet still seemingly ok. Ultimately he will be treated just as Thomas was he'll have to be struck down by Owls that can stand up to him. Whatever you do as his brother, for the sake of not only him, but for his future with Cecilia get him off the path he's on. He isn't the only one who will be crippled by this chain of events."
"....I see....." Moli was rattled by the whole thing. Not just by Lucien's plan which seemed far too pat to go just as he hoped or by Roulin's change, but by all of it. Years ago, Che spoke of this happening. He also spoke that should these events occur, then his plan has been lost to pure chance. Unfortunately, the elder Presidiomni was right again. There was nothing he could do to steer all of this back on track. There was always praying, but even Moli knew that they'd need far more than faith to fix this mess. Finally looking up, his eyes meeting with Lucien, the Death Owl's, he rubbed his forehead once more. "Lone extremist huh? Have at it because I know I can't stop you right now. Anyway, getting out of this place....I'm only willing to do this because it'll get me to my brother and father. Anything after that, like you said, our plans diverge. So...I'll be seeing you later after that. And yeah, he isn't the only one who will be crippled. The lot of us will.....get your b***h and let's go. No more time needs to be wasted."
"Temper temper Moli, I need you alive for now, try to not shoot your blood pressure through the roof." He said as he looked towards the house. "Sibal, we're leaving." He focused, knowing that Jeannie's telepathic abilities allowed her to hear the selective thoughts he wanted, he didn't have telepathy, but he didn't need it for a simple open thought. 'Jeannie, I need you. Come out by the house we're leaving' He looked back towards Moli, whose emotions were written all over his face. "I don't ask for you to accept this current time but you need to tolerate it we're facing troubled times and if you're going to be a herald then you need to accept the dark future ahead, the previous generation of Heralds sure as hell did." He said as he watched Sibal walk over. He looked back at Moli and continued on with one final retort. "Oh, and try to refrain from calling Jeannie a b***h, I did once, it didn't end well if I recall."
Jeannie who had been meditating had heard Lucien's thoughts as she opened her eyes. Dusting herself off she stood up and began to make the walk back towards Lucien and Moli. Once there she looked at Moli and then to Lucien. "Hello Moli, it's good to see you" she said in a casual tone. Looking at Lucien she clutched her bag and nodded. "I'm ready when you all are" she said with a half smirk as she prepared to leave whichever way they were going to leave, through mist, teleportation,light, she didn't know she just tried to mentally brace herself for the ride."The tigers, that sounds fun! I remember as a little girl I always had a fascination with large wild cats" she said as she began to walk with Cecilia and Aiden. What were they doing? She knew this wasn't life...and Cecilia had a responsibility to uphold. "Hold on Cecilia..." she started. "We've been here for about two and a half months. The initial time was for you to be able to rest up and heal..and you've done that. So what are your plans now? You are the gravity herald, meaning that you have a responsibility to uphold" she said. "When do you plan on leaving?" she asked.As the door opened, it soon shut leaving them in a circular yet large room. It was silent. Walking slowly the three proceeded. Soon a rumble could be heard. "What the hell?" Amara asked, but before she could finish with her statement a large beast stood before them.
It had to be a creation of the UNS...genetic altering of OWLs and maybe animals, she wasn't sure but it screamed unnatural. Pushing the child behind she smiled. "Stay here, I don't want you to get hurt" she said. Looking at Vincent she hoped that he could hold his own. "Well Vincent, it seems that this thing is the door that we need to get out of here" she said to him. Taking out two .45 she began to run towards the beast shooting at it, aiming for vitals.Vincent looked at the beast he had to admit he was frightened. As Amara began to shoot at the beast, Vincent began to side step looking where to attack. Taking out his oozie and proceeded to fire. The large beast began to release a terrible sound as shockwaves threw both him and Amara back into the wall. It ran towards Vincent swinging its venomous claws. Vincent naturally attempted to freeze the beast. Instead of freezing though it began to move very slowly. "Damnit" Vincent cursed to himself. Getting himself up, he ran out of the way as the beast began to move faster once again. "Amara we have to come up with a way to kill this thing and quickly" he yelled.
(TFP Serilda) While scooting back a bit further to plan her second attack she noticed from a glimpse from afar she could see that she fired off a bullet wound to a boy. Slowly watching as the man knelt down to the boy retracting the bullet out of his leg he saw the skin patching itself up like, it never entered the boy's leg in the first place. "So he's a healer.." watching from afar she could feel a gust of wind slicing through the forest as she would lay down quickly as it would pass by. "That was close." but looking while pieces of strands of her hair from the front fall slowly to her left hand she began to smirk. "So.. not only a healer a caster as well." thinking inside her head she began to scan for a weapon suited for this predicament, rounding down to the nearest number. "Lets go" as she rolled to the left side as she started off with a few RPG-40 and began to throw them out of the forest towards the three, proximately 10 RPG-40 hand grenades. Waiting on their response she began to stop as she began to start creating Welrod's (Assassin Pistols).
Kate's expression remained the same as it had been for the last few minutes during their conversation, as she and Che entered the hotel lobby through the automatic doors. Though she gave Che a glare as he responded to her first statement about not letting on to Will that they had a bet in place. "You are stupid, Presidiomini. You should know better than anyone that William Descythe will be able to see through our ruse. That a** picks up on any sort of prank or bet just through mere analogies and demeanor. If I do not react to his insults, he will sense something is up and start asking questions." They approached the elevator and Che summoned it by pressing the 'up' button.
While the elevator was in transit to the lobby, Kate stood in silence, listening to Che talking and staring at the two of them in the reflection from the elevator doors. She really did like Che's hair better this way, even if Che preferred it in its afro form. So Kate had been completely serious when telling him that earlier. Though, he could have done without the beard.
Then the familiar ding sounded as the elevator arrived and the doors slid open. "Why would I want or need more money, Che? There are the winnings from the casino." Kate replied simply, "I am not so materialistic, Che. You should know this by now." She did not sound annoyed or anything, she was simply stating a fact. She stepped away from Che, removing his arm from across her shoulders. He was rather heavy, but she only tolerated his laziness with standing so much. Closing her eyes, Kate stood at the back of the elevator, leaning against the wall, arms folded across her chest. "Oh? So I am supposed to do as you tell me and everything will go according to your plan? No thank you. I prefer to do things my own way. As such, you may use your lazy hand to press the button for our floor. I am not going to do every simple thing for you, including pressing an elevator button or being your standing post." Kate stated, pointing to the array of floor buttons on the wall next to the door.
Cecilia accompanied Aeon to the tigers. Many civilians stopped and stared at the sapphire female. Some stared in awe, others gazed in contempt. Mothers shielded their curious children who seemed to think that she worked at the zoo and wanted to get their pictures taken with her, but were prevented by protective parents. "I remember when I was younger, I had always wanted a Siberian Tiger cub as a pet. Of course, given certain circumstances, that small dream never came true," she said with a light chortle before her elated expression fell to that of a solemn one.
"Despite the fact that the Heralds have basically been our enemies...save for maybe a few...I've always held a fascination for them, a certain respect for them if that makes sense. But I guess I never thought that one day I would be replacing one of them. It was never my intention to kill Adam. I had no choice if I wanted to survive. I didn't ask to become a Herald. I suppose Fate had another path set out for me as opposed to the one I had been following. I know that because of this, my life has taken a different turn. Whether that is a turn for the better or worse....I can't determine. All I know is that my life has become filled with more danger as there will most likely be those who will want to kill me in order to either gain such a power for themselves, someone who holds a grudge against the Heralds, or for some other reason, which they think will bring justice. But it will only bring about the war faster."
Cecilia's jade eyes shifted downwards towards Aiden who looked up at her with great curiosity. "I know I have responsibilities now as a Herald. But that's the thing. I don't know which way to turn now. I've chosen to lay low for awhile for now and help take care of little Aiden. I know that this shadow of a normal life can't last forever. I keep expecting to be thrown out there in the middle it all again. But right now, I really don't know what to do with myself. This wasn't something I had planned for." She had a feeling she probably didn't make much sense, but the truth of the matter was she didn't know which path to take. She didn't know what to do with her life. Everything had changed for her once she became a Herald.
Che stood in wait, half expecting Kate to have pressed a button by now. Maybe the second floor just to have him walk or the fourth floor just to tease him or something of that nature. Only after seconds of waiting, and after the double doors slid closed revealing their highly reflective, mirror like surface did Che realize she wasn't going to budge. Hanging his head low now, he prepared himself for a nice little lecture. And that's what he subsequently received. "No, you're stupid," replied the Italian in a child-like tone to show that while he was listening, he wasn't taking her seriously. Of course, as she went on, Che's interest was piqued especially when it seemed to him that Kate's desire to not participate in this bet seemed more and more like an excuse than a reason.
Opting not to move the elevator yet, Che stood next to Kate, looking at both himself and her in the mirrors. She was average height, nice hair, somewhat expressive eyes...the Owl knew he could go on with this. Even though her expression was as stale as day old bread, he could tell that she wasn't the same person she was months ago. Granted her demeanor still remained just as average, just as corrosive and just as abrasive, she still had changed for the better. Just her presence here was enough to let the Mastering Owl know this. Looking over to Kate now, he held back a smile that was fighting tooth and nail to get through. "No my dear. Those...are just excuses. Money? Materialistic? They don't always go hand in hand. We may be Owls, but I bet even the strongest of them have money. If not to indulge in and spend, but to donate, build houses for other and protect others less fortunate. You, Ms. Unwillingtopressyourluck, you just want to say something to Will. It's your nature to react and that's okay. Now, Will is an a**, I admit, but all his actions, as well as everyone else, don't call for reactions you know? How about this? I'll let you hold my hand, and every time you want to curse at him, or smack him, you can just squeeze alright? As hard as your want for as long as you want."
Wasting no more time on the deal that Che still somewhat hoped Kate would consider, he looked over to the buttons that designated each floor. Now that apple of his eye had disagreed to pressing the button which was closer to her anyway!, Che first tried to press it without moving. Of course he failed because his arms weren't inhumanly long. Second attempt: Reaching at it with his foot. When hoped seemed within distance, the lazy man found that he could only barely scratch it with the tip of his shoe. Finally opting to put in some kind of work, he threw a hardened card at the button which hit it with enough force to press it in. Skillfully, after striking the button, it flipped in an arc through the air before being caught by the card master. Within moments, Che's little ego expanded from just that little event. Looking over to Kate, whom he knew wasn't impressed but didn't care, he spoke up, "Yeah. See that? Lazy People one. Working People zero. In....your....face...." And surely, as karma had it, Che lifted a fist in triumph only to heavily crack the ceiling mirror above him and the lethargic beauty...
Moli simply handwaved Lucien's suggestion off. The Light Herald knew how females got when that word was attached to them specifically and he had more than enough tact to not do it. At least while they weren't around. Smirking though, he did acknowledge what may have befallen Lucien when he decided to do such a thing. Poor fellow obviously needed to work on his social skills. Amara had come along way in helping him with that. Jeannie on the other hand....whether or not Lucien knew, she would simply hold him back at this rate. Not that it was his business or anything...
"Alright guys....hands please," said Moli before taking the hands of Jeannie and Lucien. Sibal was the fourth link in the chain and stood just in front of Moli as Lucien and Jeannie stood on the sides. A brief moment of charging was done and everyone's body was converted to photons. Looking around finally to see if everyone was still whole, the blonde smirked. Nothing was lost from anyone's real form. The Countdown Owl gave a brief nod to everyone before having them all painlessly burst into a stream of charged photons. Next stop, Lousiana...
