Well it is to me. But my family discouraged loud noises as a kid, so I don't read it as yelling-yelling as I read it as someone who's talking very loudly from across the store instead of casually walking to them to say in their regular voice and/or how someone talks when they think their cellphone isn't working but you tell them you can hear them perfectly, but since they can't hear you very well they still talk very very loudly. >_>
