Amnity smiled when he called her his little sister, it's been a while since she felt like she was part of a family. She turned around and saw Wolf. The hunter ran up to him and hugged him tightly, "WOLF!!! IT'S been so long!!" she exclaimed happily.

Jacob laughed and said "I'm altered, Wolf. Enhanced everything, downgraded immune system. I'm gonna have to fix that soon." He took another drink, and pulled out his knife. "Amnity...would you?" he asked, gesturing towards his arm with the Kabar.

Amnity looked at Wolf, then back to Jacob. "Alright!...How the hell did you get hurt anyway?" she asked as she went over to him, taking the kabar. The hunter won't help him until he answered the question.

He hugged Amnity back,smiling."You sure Jacob?Once one achieves great power,the world turns against him." He said,still smiling but in a slightly serious tone.

"s**t's hittin' the fan Wolf. We got orders to terminate immortals on sight. Next thing you know, they'll want us Altereds hunted down." he said, taking another drink. "I got these wounds in a fight with Wolf back at the Junkyard, when he wasn't really himself." He looked back to Wolf and said "Speaking of which, do you know anything about the Tainted that showed up during? And we really have to hurry and get that thing out of you before it overwrites your soul like an old game save..."

Amnity examined Jacob's wound before making her first incision. She tried to avoid any contact with the bone or major arteries. "And see what happens when you 2 fight? Wolf I don't want you shooting my big brother. Big brother, don't you ever try to hurt Wolf. And the most important rule for you guys, don't EVER fight in my apartment! I just got it refurnished!" The hunter managed to get a bullet out without too much blood to be lost, "God Jacob, how many bullets are in you?!"

"I dug two out already..." he gasped. "I won't hurt him, but that shade inside has to die. Wolf, it is that powerful. It's from the other side of the mirrors. Malicious, malignant, and powerful as hell. I'm surprised that you've been able to hold on to you this long."

Amnity dug the karbar into Jacob's arm to get another bullet out. She did it as gently and painlessly as she possibly could, trying hard not to hit any nerves. When it came out she looked over at Wolf, unable to hide the sadness from her eyes.
"...Please Wolf...We have to get that demon out of you...It's changing you to a person I myself can't even recognize anymore..." She turned toward him, shaking her head, "I've known you longer than I've known anyone, and my trust in you is still strong...Please Wolf...Now you have to trust me when I say that the demon is hurting you." The hunter begged, not even knowing that it was the demon inside Wolf that shot her in the lungs that night.

"Damn right I don't." Jacob said, taking another drink. "I'd like to though. Because I have a feeling that under different circumstances we could be best of friends. And I hope to have those circumstances once we get the shade out. It's making you quicker and stronger, yeah. But it's also making you more aggressive. You could hurt someone you deeply care about." He looked down at the table, and sighed.

He sighed. It was them who started this,so its them who may end this... He thought. The shade smirked at Jacob's comment,whilst he hid it.It was Amnity who had cut into him.Guilt poured over him,and he tried to keep his voice straight. "I havnt seen that much of kindness...Jacob,you've nearly gotten me killed...once or twice.... " he said,the shade trying to add fuel to the fire.

"Be thankful." he said, bracing for more digging from Amnity. "I've almost gotten myself killed innumerable times, and my squad almost as many. I've put Amnity and Meph in dangerous situations, and I wish nothing more than for a wee bit 'o peace." He stared off a bit as he finished.

He laughed aloud at Jacob's comment."Dont you realize it?Its YOU whose the one who goes situation,YOUR the one who makes them come with you,and YOUR the one who keeps doing it!" He said. "You almost deserve to die!" The last thing he said was definitly the shade speaking.

Amnity walked between Wolf and Jacob, so none of them could see each other. "What did I ask? No fighting you 2. Remember that night in Central Park? Jacob is right, you 2 could be really good friends, but NO fighting each other from now on. Big brother, I don't want you hurting Wolf anymore." She really loved her friends dearly, and it hurt her a lot to imagine them fighting each other. "Don't try to get each other killed, I would take a bullet to protect you both from any danger." it wasn't too early to say that since she already took a bullet in the back from Wolf.
