Darius was definately worried after seeing Lily yell like that. It made Darius start to worry about whether this was the best time for him to talk to her. She seemed to be rather volitile at this moment and he wasn't sure what she would do if he tried to calm her.
Still he had no real choice, he had to help her out, he was the only one that could really help her. He took a deep breath and slowly creeped out of the bushes. He didn't say anything yet, he wanted to wait to see if she noticed him before he said anything.

Yes indeed she saw him. She wasn't sure what to say exactly. She was angry about the assucastion of being dead...but she was also exstatic to see Darius again. Torn, like usual.
"Hey..." She called out to him with a little wave, being unsure of what he wanted or why he had followed her here. Maybe he just wanted to talk.

Darius was still slightly nervous as he moved over towards Lily. She didn't look to be angry, however he still held up that defensive so that he wouldn't regret it.
"Hi Lily..." he began softly, "How are you?"

She looked at him, seeing how nervous he was, and that only made her a little more tense. What was it he was here for? Did he want her to leave school again? Was he trying to get rid of her, because this spot was special for himself and a new special someone? She had no idea...anything could have happened in a year.
"Hey Darius...I'm...Confused I guess..." She said slowly, looking up at him. "What brings you here?"

Darius saw the suspicious look she gave him and he knew that he would have to choose his words carefully so that she wouldn't run away or do anything else that might be considered rash.
"Well," he began, "I wanted to talk to you for a while, if that's okay with you."

Lily shrugged, still not sure where he was going with this, but she wouldn't mind some company. "Yeah. Alright." She said to him with a nod, patting the ground next to her. It was odd, she could touch it...but she couldn't feel the grass that her hands were running through. She didn't understand it at all, but wasn't about to question it. Maybe if she left it alone, it would just go away.

Darius took his seat right next to Lily a small smile on his face. It was now time for him to think long and hard about the right words. He took a deep breath and began.
"So what have you been doing over our break?" he asked.
He wanted to start with something nice and simple so that Lily didn't get a great deal of animosity built up inside of her.

She shrugged. "Not alot. Kind of wandering...looking for...I'm not even sure what. I guess I was just so confused here I had to get away and figure out what I wanted...what I was doing here...things like that..." She said to him, looking into his eyes now as she said, "I'm sorry I left so suddenly...without a note or anything..."

Darius nodded gently, they were trying to fix up their relationship at the time so he could understand what she was saying. Her eyes were still luminous even if she was now a ghostly image and Darius stared into them calmly
"It's okay I understand," he said gently, "Have you checked up on the girls recently?"

She smiled a little, but nodded to him.
"Yeah I had checked on them yesterday. They were really busy though...and they didn't even notice me." She said calmly. Actually, the girls hadn't been that busy, they had just been sitting around, looking to be very sat and gloomy about...well something. She had tried to talk to them, tried to cheer them up...but they had never even looked at her.

"Well that's great to hear. Maybe we'll see the girls soon once they get free time!" he said with a smile.
The time had almost come to start to talk about what had transpired a while ago. He dreaded this moment but it had to come. He took a deep breath and sighed.
"Lily, about what happened earlier," he began.

She looked at him as he started, and knew this wasn't going to be good. "Yeah what was that Darius? Because if it was some joke, it wasn't funny." She said to him softly.
"I really missed you and Liz...and then I couldn't even hug you..." She said quite honestly, with a sad, confused look in her eyes. She just refused to belive that she was dead.

"No, it's not a joke Lily..." he began gently, "I wish it was...but it doesn't seem look like it."
He sighed gently as he stared down at the brown swampy goo below him.
"I don't want to believe it either Lily, but I don't think it's anything else..."

Lily shook her head. "Darius...Darius I can't be..." She said softly, feeling a lump fill her throat.
"I'm not...dead..." She said softly. "I just couldn't have...I survived all those years in the ring, just to die after escaping? No, Darius it just doesn't make sense...I don't even remember how I died...So I can't be..." She said to him softly, being more scared than angry now.

Darius was saddened by the way she took this information. He knew that it would be a hard thing to come and accept but the fact of the matter was, he had to try and keep her calm before doing anything rash.
"It's okay Lilly, please keep calm about this, it will all come to you eventually."
