So that everyone knows, apparently Veled is auctioning off the old Green Beret in a symbolic change from the Green Beret to the new "Veled is the Goddess of Choice" banner. So if anyone is shopping for a Green Beret, I highly suggest you not bid on the one Veled is auctioning. Although, since it is a symbolic thing, and many Pro-Choicers will be bidding, we probably won't have to worry about it.

Nothing against them, but I think they should have their little fun without us "interupting" or anything. Wouldn't want to ruin their fun. wink

Well, since apparently it's hypocritical to be Pro-Life but against abortion in the case of rape, I think it's hypocritical to be Pro-Choice but against second or third trimester abortions...

The guilds shouldn't be warring. Honestly, they shouldn't.

It's not like they're all, "OMG Kill babies yay!" and we're all, "OMG Enslave women yay!"

Most people are pro-life or pro-choice because they're defending something they value. They feel that they are fighting for someone whose rights will otherwise be trampled.

We're fighting for the same reasons, or at least, those of us who actually give a damn about anyone outside ourselves are. So why are we warring? Why are there attacks and petty battles? It makes no sense.

It frustrates me to no end that it's like this. I know I'm really optimistic in thinking that at least some common ground can be reached, but GAH, I'm just tired of the attacks. "You people" this, "You people," that, "Your side," "You guys," "Your tactics," I'm just so freaking sick and tired of it. I don't go up to people and say, "Your side says it's okay to kill babies," even though there are a few extremists who argue that it is, so why is it that I get about ten a day of, "Your side says it's okay to enslave women?" I'm sick of it. Have you ever met anyone who wants to enslave women? Lorysa, Ebony, run, I'll enslave you if you see me because I'm pro-life and we're just liket hat, enslaving women left and right!

GAHHH. This is why I left Gaia for awhile.

@Kate: But if you're enslaving women, wouldn't the first woman you enslave be yourself and, thus, other women wouldn't have to worry about you enslaving them?

Unless you were, like, a hunter slave. That would be awesome! ^_^
