And speaking of anime....My parents don't like it much either. I can get my mom to watch, but my dad doesn't like anything Japanese >_> But he's somewhat tolerant.
And My mom doesn't like games much...She likes stuff like Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon though. My dad used to love games..Would play RPG games all night and let me watch and stuff...he rarely plays now though other then Madden Football every Tuesday somewhere with these people.
