But yeah, the games have a pretty obvious fetish for certain things...
Namely, salvation through sacrifice. Mordin on Tuchanka, Legion for the Geth, Grunt risking it by the Rachni Queen, the suicide mission of the second game... the ending might've impacted me a bit more if they hadn't spent ten minutes telling me that all those civilizations in the Reapers were sacrificed to save them. Things aren't quite as powerful in the storytelling sense when everybody else is doing it, too.

Mass effect 3 was a ********, this is common knowledge. If you want a game where your choices ACTUALLY MATTER AND AFFECT THE GAME, play Alpha Protocol. It's actually a good game, despite it's lukewarm reception. Do you want to kill this 'Bad guy'? Or do you want to recruit him instead? Do you want to tell this organization to get out of your way, or do you want to ally with them instead? Do you want to be a suave, smartass? A professional agent? or an outright pissed-off psychopath? You can be any and all! Stealth? Straight-up assault? Or a mix of both? ... 'S a good game. o wo; b
As long as it's not one of those silly "Getting cyborg parts destroys your humanity!" sorts of games.
Oh, and I started a new Nocturne file. ^^ Beat Matador and Dante on the first try!

Nope. o wo
You also have a "Relationship" with every key character you meet. You can befriend them, or make them hate you, should you wish. You can get it on PS3, or on Steam.
I'm working on getting a copy of Nocturne. Aaaaand I'm going to bed. Take care, Rednal. ^^
