Is there any way to use dex bonus on attacks like with D&D's Weapon Finesse? I feel like the sword I plan on using later would be more of a precision weapon than a strength based one.

I would think so. D20 Modern and D20 Future both have that feat.

What weapon?

Yea, 1 Hp per post. smile

I duno if you are supposed to be fighting IN THE CLASSROOM, but whatev lol razz (this is from my perspective as Akio's RPer, of course).

Mmmm what do you mean Duct? Like attack roll is dex, or add dex to attack roll? Nonetheless you could always get it approved as a custom weapon or something.

Lol, of course were not supposed to fight in the classroom.. hahha...
But Felix and Wolfe dont know that! ROFL... this is hilarious because they are just gung ho'ing it.. flat out.

Also Wolfe took Felix down to like.. 2hp... so he sort of staggered in his attack and this is quite comical to watch. >< lol

Oh, Weapon finesse means you can choose to use your Dex mod instead of your strength mod for to hit rolls only.

Damage is still str + weapon damage.

ITs mostly only good for weapons with a high crit, because otherwise you don't do enough damage to make the feat worth it. Unless you have a fun class like duelist or something...

Weapon Finesse is a feat that allows you to use your dex bonus instead of your str bonus when rolling to hit. So the damage wouldn't be affected, but my chance to hit gets modified by my dex instead of my str.

Right, and my character is based on agility rather than brute force, kind of like a melee ranger or a dervish.

Lol dervishes.... never played one but heard they were a good alternative to the Duelist.

What class do you start as to go into a dervish?

Actually i think i have the book there are in... Complete warrior was it?
PostPosted: Thu May 12, 2011 5:15 pm

Oh well, there are some weapons that go one better, such as Andou's one <_< That's a specialty weapon, but still. You could make your own version. I mean, you could just use the same logic as the Hyuuga's Juuken which just uses dex for everything and just change all the str mods to dex mods.

I went Ranger->Dervish. When I played that character, I got upwards of 8 attacks in one turn at level 8. Take the two-weapon fighting ranger and minmax from there.
PostPosted: Thu May 12, 2011 5:34 pm

Groovy.. yea fighter and ranger look like good starting points.

Attacks are pointless if they lack power though. Two handed weapons for life.. (or death in the case of the poor b*****d who gets hit)

Ever heard of a full-blade?

Bloody hell guys. You couldn't wait to give the damn teacher a chance to break up the fight in his classroom? Oi vey...

Now to explain why Yarotai ignored the shenanigans. Thanks.

Lol... well, we figured it was one of the only things that Felix and Travis could train... and we were bored.. wink
You have to admit it is rather hilarious.
