Baizou placed his arms around her, "I would have to disagree, but that is your preference, I suppose." He shrugged, "You know. If you go for the awkward tall redhead type." He murmured casually, bending to rest his forehead on hers.

Ellie grinned, as her arms pulled him tightly to her, as she laughed a little bit. "Only you, my love." She started to hum a little bit, as her eyes needn't glance around the room to care that no one else was around. It would not have mad the slightest difference to her, and most definitely would not change if she held onto her husband or not. "When for presents, my love?" she asked, voie muffled as she nuzzled her face into his chest.

"Hmm..." Baizou thought for a few moments as he swayed from side to side with her hands. "Is now good for you?" He asked, perking his ears hopefully. "I am excited to give you your presesnt." He added, seeming unable to stop smiling.

"Now is excellent." she replied, smiling back at him, eyes shining happily. Both of her hands founds his, and entwined happily, swinging him a little bit back and forth, her eyes more than happy. Sighing a little bit, she nuzzled into his chest one more time, inhaling deeply. Drawing back, she pulled him towards the fireplace, where her gift had laid wrapped for nearly two weeks.

Baizou grinned and followed her obediently. He had to admit he was very curious about the box. "Thank you, love." He said before pulling off the paper carefully. It was so nice, he was afraid of ruining it. He finally had all of the paper pulled off, tail unknowingly wagging excitedly.

In the box lay a couple of books, one of animal-trasnfiguring spells, and the other, pranks and other silly spells. On top was a long thin box, containing with in a blood-red chain, thin and masculine. Ellie clasped her hands excitedly as she waited for his reaction. Sitting on the arm of the nearest couch, she bit her lip. "I hope you like 'em, I mean, it's not much.. but.. I mean, hehe."

Baizou's eyes gazed over his presents and glistened happily. "Oh, Ellie! These are so awesome!" He cried, standing up to hug her. "Yes, I will most definitely use these. They will come in handy quite a lot. We will have to have fun with the prank spells, later." He chuckled, "Once Tomo gets in, of course." He slipped away from her and rushed to the back room, walking back in with a large green gift bag. "Your turn!" He said, handing the bag to her.

Ellie laughed, almost relieved with his reaction, as she nodded to everything he said. Taking the bag, Ellie started to carefully pluck at the tissue. Looking between the bag and him, she laughed nervously, face pink. "I love you, Baizou." she said, anticipation getting the better of her, as she peered over the edge of the bag carefully.

Baizou was hooking the chain around his neck as she opened her bag and he beamed every time she looked up. "I love you, too." He replied happily. Inside was a beautiful green glass box edged with gold painted ((to fit his budget)) metal. It curled around the sides of the box like grape vine. Inside the box was a full set of high quality oil paints. At the bottom of the bag was some canvas sheets and a set of new paint brushes. "I hope you like painting." He murmured, blushing a little.

"Oh my good lord..." she cooe,d as her hands tenderly opened the box. The paints were better than any she'd ever had, and her brain turned to mush, as she carefully set it down, and flung her arms around his neck. "Oh, Baizou... I love you.. Painting.. Only you.." she managed to stutter out through her mushy brain.

Baizou laughed as he hugged her back, "You are so cute, love. I assume that was a thank you?" He teased, letting his ears relax. They had been up and down all day according to the level of his excitement. "I am glad you like them. I would have gotten an easel as well, but I could not find anywhere that sold them." He explained, glad that he got a job in the Muffin to spoil his wife with.

"No, no. Don't worry.. . I .. yes, thank you." Ellie stuttered out, as she clung to her husband, nuzzling into his chest. With a happy sigh, she nodded. "Amazing.. I... I am speechless." Laughing, she pulled back, looking up at him, eyes shining happily.

Baizou smiled and started to blush a little. He really hadn't expected her to love it that much. "You do not have to say anything, love." He said softly, kissing her nose. "Happy anniversary, love. Thank you for the wonderful gifts."

Ellie pulled back, with a small appreciative nod. "Happy anniversary." replied she, as she snuggled up to him. "Now what, my love? Any plans for what we do now?" Her fingers rubbed comforting circles in his back, as her face nuzzled once more into his chest, perfectly content to snuggle him.

Baizou thought for a few moments, "Well, I was thinking of taking a bath." He said, cuddling her to his chest, "Would you like to join me? We could have a nice long relaxing soak, together." He offered, drawing his tail around her waist.
