The Fiend of the West Yes, you can do it. But you have to remember the average grappler isn't trying to RIP your arm off. That is very malicious and despite what many think very few are willing to do this. Even if they try sometimes the mind stops them. Purely on mechanics if you were to lift say me, I weigh 155 lbs and am 5'6" and I have you in a full extended armbar and then you sit up and pick me up, you just lost your shoulder. Because I can still extend my hips and push on you. You might still be able to fall onto me, but you now have a useless arm. It just isn't the correct escape and is very very dangerous. In the world of Gaia, in which breaking someones arm isn't going to seem that bad; no one is holding back. That's a sitting armbar though. I mean purely a standing/spinning/whatever armbar where they try to get it and pull the guy to the ground. THAT is where you could just slam some dude. Trying to do it FROM the ground? Yeah, you're probably asking for a dislocated/separated shoulder.

The Darth Vizzle *Armbars both your arms at the same time.* *Somehow.* Technically speaking, you could do two straight arm bars. I guess. Striker and Vizzle: I hate to play this card. But neither one of you are black belts, and neither one of you have ever been arm barred with the intent to break it. Go to your local BJJ school, sign a waver and find the smallest black belt. Try it. If he has the heart for it, you will be regretting it.

Where I grab your wrist and JUMP at you? Yeah, you can slam me. But Striker got takedown, into a FULL armbar and then stood up. Bye bye arm.

Nah, Darth would just go ******** YOUR ARMBAR and give him an epic glam-metal headbanging session until the kung-fu midget passes the ******** out.

I don't need a blackbelt to tell you that someone who weighs 100 pounds less than me will never, ever submit me by joint or limb lock, in the context of us both being athletes. Not unless they're just the reincarnation of Royce ******** Gracy, or something.
Unless you're implying that eight year old black-belt-owning BJJers exist, and that they can armbar me without me slinging them around into a wall like a ragdoll.

Oh, well then ******** that s**t. At most, he could just keep his arm from getting wrecked, but he could never pick the guy up with his joint locked like that.

I have no clue why you people are blaming Striker for dying, it was my full intention to kill whoever I was first matched up against, whether it was Striker, Vizzle, Hael, hell, anyone I was matched up against. I was going to try and kill.
If you plan on making this big of a deal about it, I'll just resign, I forfeit my match, Striker is the winner. There will be no redo, nothing like that, Striker will advance to the second round, and I will lose.
Simple as that, really.

Actually, they do.
Ronaldo Souza in his youth submitted a 200 lbs black belt when he was eleven.
See, because its leverage.
Not strength.
Not only that, Striker was on his back. Therefore negating his strength and THEN stood up.
His arm is gone.
Edit:
And we came to a conclusion.

Vince was already going to sacrifice the arm regardless, so that's why I took that path. As much as you're bitching, haven't you read it?

Really at this point we've boiled it down to "Should Striker even have died or not". Just determining whether that fight could be considered kosher at all.

Eleven =/= eight.
Being eleven =/= weighing 100 lb less than the other person.
Find me a 70 lb person who can armbar me, and I'll find you a leprechaun riding a unicorn to a pot of gold hidden in Atlantis.

I'm not bitching at all, bro.
I am explaining the mechanics of an armbar with Vizzle for fun.
Bitching would be this.
"No, you are wrong. You are dumb. Shut up. No Vizzle. Shut up. You stupid Native American. No. Shut up. No. Umad?"
Also would like to add though, without a shoulder to support Sin's weight he would actually slip off your arm since it got destroyed and the entire triangle simply doesn't happen.
But then we are getting way to technical.
Edit:
Vizzle: Alright. Let me go get that like nine year old Gracie. BRB.
