Trigramatic Tails nodded. "His vest weighs more than you do," he said. "So imagine one time he took a wrong step around Ecruteak and fell in one of my mud puddles." "He would have a hard time getting out." He said. "I think I got to be more careful now..." Tristen said.

"Definitely. The last then you want is to find yourself stepping in Muk outside," Tails said. "You'd have to figure out how to call me with that Snag. And I guess that would be pretty difficult when it's hard just to squirm around~"

And I guess that would be pretty difficult when it's hard just to squirm around~" "Uhhhhhh..." I saw Tails come in with Tristen and listened in as they talked to each other as I was trying to get something to drink for the moment as I was in the kitchen for the moment. While Tails was telling Tristen about a few things on things to look out for, stuff in which I can agree on, while wearing the heavier suit of clothes, I was compelled to ask one thing, nonetheless. "Why...did you carry Tristen through the building, Tails?" I asked.

"Oh. You saw that," Tails said, completely unabashed. "I was giving him something to shoot for. Don't you remember how I reacted when you did that to me when I got my training clothes?"

Trigramatic "Oh. You saw that," Tails said, completely unabashed. "I was giving him something to shoot for. Don't you remember how I reacted when you did that to me when I got my training clothes?" Actually I did. Though, difference was, it was no challenge to me to do that for training for so long like that. Tails though...apparently he still has to use Chi to pull such a stunt, but I think he made his point nonetheless. "Yea, I do, actually." I said. "Um, Blizz?" Tristen asked. "Yea? What is it?" I asked. "I was meaning to ask you. You said you sensed Chi. Like. Pressure. Right?" "Yea? What of it?" "Could I do that?" "Not...like I can..." I said. "It comes with the species actually...something Miles explained to me a while back." "What do you mean?" "Well, bird Pokemon and hybrids for that matter, can sense chi as if pressure. We may not be able to tell all too well about what KIND of chi it is, but we can sense the intensity of it. Its how birds in nature are able to find their locations or or alert them to others nearby, rather it be friend or predator. A radar, of sorts." I said to him. "For that matter, I tend to use it to basically gauge my opponent...get a good idea of how fast I am able to stomp on him......or visa versa..." I explained. "Oh..." Tristen said. "You on the other hand...well, you would have traits...well...if anyone is to teach you to hone anything...it'd probably be Tails, actually." "Wha?" "You got more canine traits, like Tails does. Tails can sense heat for the most part at last check, given his fire type characteristics. For that matter, can smell and hear a heck of a lot better than any normal human." I said. "You may want to start there and see where you can go with it."

Tails' ears instantly perked. "Oh yeah, I didn't think of it like that. I can sense heat anywhere, but it's easy for me to sniff out what something might be. I just can't tell how strong it is. Like, when Blizz uses an ice beam, the air smells intensely dry, and bitter. I started to associate that with ice and I haven't really been wrong since. And then, lake chi on its own is probably one of the best smells there are. It's kinda like a rain after a month of drought."

Something that Tails could teach him when the time comes. "Oh okay." Tristen said. "Given your Electric type attributes, if anything, you could sense probably various thunder chi, rather it be the electricity flowing through the wires in the walls, or heck, you may be able to tell if someone is close by, by the natural electrical impulses that flows through one's nervous system, though you'd probably have to really be sensitive to feel THAT much, but something that you could probably do though in due time." "Ohhhhh." "At any rate, Tristen, I don't want you to be carried around again. Got it. Otherwise, how are you to get used to it?" "Okay..." He said.

"Okay," said Tails, but he was hardly apologetic. "So Blizz, what should I do to him first?"
A pause.
"With him, I mean."

"Well, you can teach him about how to hone his senses, if you want. But either way, make sure that he stays moving for a while at least." I said to him. "I just want him to get used to what he is wearing." I said to him. "Maybe get him to do something that will, for the most part, challenge him to get over it quicker." I said. "I don't know...have him chase you around or something."

Tails stared at Blizz. Glanced for a moment to Tristen. Then, stared at Blizz for awhile. By the angle of his ears, it was clear Tails saw a simple solution.
He smacked Tristen on the back, then darted out of the room. "Tag, you're it!"

Tristen then tried to rush off...as fast as he could...which...Tails could be in the next city at this rate...

Tails did not hide far -- he sat just outside the maw of the cavern to Mount Silver. He thought perhaps this could be a fine time to let Tristen hone his tracking skills since he'd be running for the next several minutes.

He thought perhaps this could be a fine time to let Tristen hone his tracking skills since he'd be running for the next several minutes. Tristen found his way outside after a couple of minutes, figuring thats where Tails ran off to. Tired however, trying to go all out in making it out the door at least. However he found a dilemma, not because he was feeling out of it already, Tails could be ANYWHERE in this cavern. He looked around...couldn't smell him...the dampness filled the cavern...it smelled like water than anything. Couldn't hear anything, rather, not Tails in particular. Just wild Pokemon and running water. And trying to point out electricity? Beyond him for the time being. Still though, he knew standing there wasn't going to do anything.

Tails couldn't smell Tristen, but he could hear him. He sat still, waiting. Surely the draft would take his scent inside. He did not worry whether Tristen would pick up on it because he knew eventually he would do this and more. It was all a matter of doing; not trying.

Tristen started to walk about, making his way around the area the best he could with such weighted clothes on him. He then perked up. Something...familiar... "Tails?" Tristen spoke up. It was faint. He could smell it. He started to walk around at the encumbered pace that he's been in at the moment, trying to see if the scent was going to lead to the fox kid.
