Sorry for late reply but I was cooking dinner.
And yes, I'm calling you lazy an ill-motivated. If you want something and you don't grasp it due to inconvenience then you're lazy in my opinion. However, I've had to work for everything my whole life. So.. I wouldn't expect most of my generation to understand that feeling.

Well Obviously your PMS is affecting your logic..
I called you a racist for assuming all mexicans are drug lords.. Which you obviously said out of anger then completely forgot you said it. I called you Lazy not because you don't want to learn spanish, but for the things you do want in life you're too scare or it's too much of an inconvenience for you to grasp. You're ill-motivated because you say you want these things yet... You don't go out and get them. Which shows you don't truly want them. If you're in a bitchy mood, that is no way my fault. o3o You probably misinterpreted my rather blunt words incorrectly. So go, relax for a bit, then come back online and talk before you start falsely accusing people of things you misunderstand. :3

Listen ApeK, some people just do not need Spanish. I am taking German 101 and Chinese 101 instead of the "highly" recommended Spanish. Spanish is something terrible to learn because as soon as colleges see Spanish as your Foriegn language, it becomes extremely difficult to separate yourself from the group. Colleges would gladly take a student with something like Greek or Latin over a Spanish student due to the fact that it is extremely common and almost everyone knows it.
As another thing, refusal of Spanish should be allowed and even suggested among students. Though one could say that it is the most useful in everyday life, Latin would be a much better language for one going into a Science field. German or French would be a much better language for a historian. Chinese would be extremely useful for future business men. Spanish would be the most useful to someone like a worker who must deal with people in a job dealing with multiple non-related people everyday [bus driver, accountant, etc.]. I believe that schools should have no reason to force languages on students. Spanish 101 itself is a joke of a class that is not challenging and lazy students would be more likely to take that easy course then something exotic like Polish, Russian, or Arabic.
@ Dance -- I thought math fields and engineering field had a ton of scholarships... ((Side note: I am starting to like math biggrin ))

I never said she should learn spanish. I was tired of her talking down about the Texas Education system when we're one of the best in the United States. =/

How about we all calm down ^,^ There is no need for name calling or swearing, or falsely accusing people. Apekz It is extremely hard to find a job. I tried all last year and still couldn't get one because I was 17. Being a teenager is still very difficult. I feel your pain Dance ):

Feh..
I make around $60 a day sitting at home doing nothing because I set up advertisements online which only take me 5 minutes to put up. Finding a job isn't hard nor is making money.. It's peoples ambitions which are lacking, not the job market.

Also, I never said that I wanted to do them but I couldn't because it was inconvenient. I said that I couldn't do them now. They are just a few of the thirty life goals I have created for myself. I also want to visit every European country one day. Does that make me even more lazy simply because I cannot do those things now? No, they take time that I do not have when I'm a college-bound high schooler. I want to complete those before I get as old as my great-grandma, not before I turn eighteen. Hell, I'm planning on taking up Russian next year because that is on my list. After that I will start with the Latin. Then maybe after I actually start getting a cash flow that isn't $20 for doing chores I will actually start to act on my other life goals. You're saying I am lazy simply because I can't finish my life goals in a matter of a year. I truly want these things, but I don't want them right now. They take time to accomplish and, if I live as long as my grandma, I still have another seventy-five years to accomplish them.
You caused my anger to escalate, so yes you contributed to my bitchiness a lot.
@ Shiggy: I completely agree with that, and there are scholarships, but they are mostly for people who are either a sophomore in college or are 18. I won't be eighteen until the day after I move into my dorm, so there aren't as much for me. Also, I'm going into mechanical engineering and most of the engineering scholarships are for electrical/computer engineering.
@Sanari: Thank you, it is hard to find a job. There is a total of three places to work for high school students in my town since I'd rather not come home smelling like hog s**t. All the other jobs in other towns are taken by their local teens.

No. I am just tired of people complaining about not being able to do something when they are smart and physically capable. -.-; I've walked up a hill of ice in a snow-storm wearing nothing more than sweat-pants and a sweat-shirt so I could go to the movies.

Yeah.. But I'm a pretty fair person and simple. I'm fine as long as I make money and I try my best to not be greedy.

I'm fine as long as I make money and I try my best to not be greedy. Greedy? That is called business. $60 + $700 = a lot of money, more popularity, more money, looped. Economics lesson #1. $$$
