To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you.To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. Well, all I can say is that at least you don't have to worry about noisey, annoying costumers Skotti. I worked in a Vintage shop in till recently. I basically brought all the Tylenol from the Wale-greens across the street. They were really happy for my costume... To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget.

@ Styk (RE, jelly): I know, right? Jellyfish are frickin' awesome. smile
(RE, job): I told you not to throw a hissy fit if you didn't get the job. People are told that they either have too much experience, aren't hiring, or just don't care. Did you apply for a part-time or full-time job?
Edit: @ Skotti and Aly, because I can: I once got hired by the school to tutor dumb kids in math, which was unfortunately one of my best subjects, for $9 an hour. I came home with migranes every day 'cause I couldn't fathom why they couldn't get small-fry algebra concepts. I got pink-slipped (essentially laid off) at the end of that year because of district budget cuts, but by then I lost the drive to bother tutoring people again. lol

Everyone: hey, if you need a job, just apply as a cart pusher at every big chain store you know. It is a seriously miserable job so at least ONE store will bite.

To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you.To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. That's true. Though for me...with my anemia, and lack of serious strength. I won't survive. Though I guess that depends on the location, my I should check with my local store.
Anyway...so how are we are the main rp? To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget.

@ Jay: I applied for Part-time/Overnight. I'm pretty nocturnal, so I thought since nobody ever takes the Overnight stuff I'd get it. I'm not as upset about it now as I was earlier, I'm more shocked. lol
@ Skotti: I think I'm the only person in the world who has ever had fun as a cart pusher O_O.

@ Styk: I got a good rule of thumb for this: If you think of something, chances are that a lot of people thought of the same thing irregardless if they openly admitted it or not.
@ Aly: Yeah, anemia/lack of stamina/low blood pressure isn't fun. I wouldn't dare do anything strenuous in the summer because the summertime's pretty much drop-dead season for me. :/
Oh, and nobody posted anything new in the RP yet. Don't get too excited.

@ Jay: Y'know, I think part of the reason why I didn't get the job is because I had a second of doubt. For a moment, I thought, "I don't think I got the job.". . . lol I'm always saying, "Attitude is everything"! XD And then look what happens!! Lmfao!!!. . . Man, that's awesome. lol But, yes, I am going to look for another job- Probably tomorrow.

@ Styk: Then we can assume both of us were right in a different way. Try Skotti's advice and apply somewhere as a cart-pusher ;D

About the main RP: Man. . . lol I've got nothing for it lol!! Dead serious, I can't think of a post for it at all. I have a few things for D.D., but I can't move until Alison posts. For the CoA RP in the other guild, I'm feeling 'on fire' (lol get it? Because we're all in a cold climate? XD [/bad joke]), but I can't move Loco until Tmnt posts something XD lol.
@ Jay: I think I'll do that!- I don't know why people dread Cart-pushing! I had a lot of fun as a cart-pusher! I didn't mind the summer heat, I didn't mind going out when it was -10 out, and I didn't mind all the people- Though. . . yeah, there was this one time when a friend of mine thought he would be funny and get two of his friends so the three of them could drive up on their bikes and shoot me (at close range) with Paint Ball guns. . . MAN! I had those bruises for MONTHS!

To pursue beauty to its lair. Hey Styk, its cool...I'm grabbing for stuff when it comes to the Main...its so hard...to keep it...up, but whatever. D.D I'm kinda blank in this situation...not sure where to go, but since I can post in till someone else does. I'm fine. Exile...I have so many characters. I never run out of stuff to post! however...it tough to manage the organization, I'm trying to go for shades of grey with them. Do they come off super violent? To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget.

@ Aly: lol I don't mean to make them off as, like, Violent. Just those speeches kinda did that for me. My bad!

To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you.To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. Its cool I just wanted to know if I was off my mark in write. I'll try and tone down the speeches. I based it off of Samuel Adam's speech "Give me Liberty or give me Death". Its long...and he repeats his point a lot...so I tried to do the same. Though, Styk, what is the general statement of your group? I'm trying to figuring it out. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget.
