Tora was headed upstairs, but thought she saw someone outside the window, waiting at the door. Ah, the new maid, she smiled. Tora went back to the main entrance. She opened the door and smiled at the young girl standing there. "Hello," she smiled. "I'm Tora, the head Geisha. Please, come in." Tora stood aside to let her pass. "What is your name, young one?" she asked.

Siyuki stood outside the Okiya she wouyld be working at. Sucking in a huge gasp of air she smiled brightly. 'I just can't wait to be around everyone! HeeHee' She hurridly climbed up the steps leading to the doors, and slid open the doors, and changed out of her shoes and into her slippers. Siyuki looked up to see two other girls in front of her. She straightened up, and gave a smile. "Hiya, I'm Siyuki, but you can call me Siyu." She held out her hand, indicating she'll like to shake their hands. "What's yours?"

aki-mizu Well welcome to the Okiya. Please make yourself at home. You must be a new maid. We have three now. I love haveing new people come. ::realizing she is talking to much aki goes to the closet and pulls out a blue cotton kimono and white tie.:: Here you go. ::hands the kimono and tie to Jakquilynn:: If you will follow me I can lead you to your room where you can put your things down. ::smiles and turns to start walking down the hall::  Don't be afraid

Airi shrugged, "Maybe a week or so, I've really lost track of time since I've been here..." Airi smiled, "Tell me about your village Rikku-chan, what was it like, I'd love to hear about it!" she grabbed a bucket to fill it with water, and after she had filled it up, gently watered the flower plants.

"Well...it was a very small community so every one knew one another well, it was a happy place to grow up in, the sea could be seen from the village so my father was a fisher man and my mother ran a small stall. As they were busy during most of the day i would play on the shore with the other children that lived there. But as i grow older i seemed to out grow the humbleness of the village, i knew there was more to life than what i had found there so i found my self leaving it behind.It was hard." Rikku sighed "Hard to say goodbye to the people i had known all my life until then." Rikku's deep blue eyes began to shimmer at the thought of one person she hadden't thought about in years but quickly dismissed the thought out of her head.
"So. I travelled around for a year fiinding jobs here and there until i came to the okiya." Rikku smilied "And i think it's the wisest choice i've made."

Airi hugged Rikku tightly, "Oh you poor thing! At least you know that they loved you and that they will forever love you!"
Looking over Rikku's shoulder as she hugged her, she saw a girl, holding a kimono and obi in her arms.

Jakquilynn quickly looked away when she saw the girl looking at her. She looked down the hall and noticed that Akime was already quite ahead of her. She ran after Akime nervously.

Siyuki smiled as she stepped in. Once she came insider her whole eyes shined as she took in the beautiful sight. Siyuki gazed at the wall, and saw many pictures of Geisha's hanging with their names engraved at the bottom. Her eyes slowly widen when she saw a picture that said Tora: Head Geisha. Stiffening she turned to face Tora, and bowed. "Ms.Tora I'll do my best to serve you. It'll be an honor. Truly it will!"

"yes, there will always be a part of my heart that belongs to the village and the people there. after all no one should forget about their childhood and where they are from." Rikku felt so glad that she was able to share her past with Airi and began to feel as if she did truly belong in the okiya.

((Please ignore my Avi at the moment, I'm doing this spirit week and it's WACKY DAY....))
Airi sighed dreamily but then shivered, "I agree. We probably should go inside the Okiya now, it seems to be becoming a cold night to such a nice day. That, and I thought I saw a girl in the Okiya, but then when I looked at her she disappeared!"
Airi placed the bucket she had watered the plants with in it's usual place, "So many new faces and so many new memories to create. I think I agree with you Rikku, even if memories are painful, having them is what makes you who you are. To forget one's past is a dreadful thing."
With a child-like giggle, Airi stood a moment looking at the moon, a beautiful cresent shape; like the light was just coming out of a long slumber. To forget those memories, would be such a sad, sad crime.

"Please, follow me to your living quarters." Tora motioned to the two maids to follow. She led them through the kitchen and off to a side door. "Here," she said, turning on some lights. "Cots are in the closet. They're to be put up each morning," she began. "We have an ample staff here, so everyone just helps everyone- there's not too much for one maid to do," she smiled. "Just help other maids, and if you see something that needs to be done, just do it then," she finished. "Any questions?"
