Now better equipped, Anatoly felt much more relaxed. He began to weigh his options on how to track Stark. His fake-confidence thing that he had used on the mission with Wilde seemed to be his best bet. He could do that alone with no resources. Maybe he could use that to get information out of the police.
((HOW'S THAT FOR A HINT, BUTTHURT?))

Anatoly retrieved his briefcase full of personal information and documents in case he needed a base from which to doctor something. Leaving only the copy of Stark's note in his box, he drove down to the police station and etched a coin using ice. He took a moment to catch his breath and steady himself and went inside, standing tall and confident.

A bored-looking police secretary that looked hilariously like Helen glanced up. "Help you?"

"I'm here regarding the ongoing incident of the building getting, ah, lit up entirely," Anatoly said, hands behind his back.

"What about it?" Pop went her bubble gum as she flipped the page of her magazine.

"What do you think," Anatoly snapped. "Locals..." he muttered. "I need to speak to the man or woman whom your precinct has appointed to be the leader of the investigation." His glare could probably cause a flower to wither just from being in the same room.

She raised an eyebrow, but her cool facade barely covered her shock and awe. She hit an intercom button. "Commander Hawke? You're needed out here, sir, by Mr..." She looked at Anatoly expectantly.

"You may address me as Agent Shin Davis," Anatoly replied, not bothering to make eye contact. He considered looking disinterestedly at his nails while waiting but instead elected to maintain the perfectly professional air.

"Agent Shin Davis," she finished. A few moments later, a tall, burly man emerged from a door. "Agent Davis?" he boomed. "I'm Commander Hawke. What can I help you with?"

Nathan stared into the empty hulk of the building. Oh, bad. Oh, oh very bad. Crash was probably dead... everyone just kind of WAS dead. Crap, oh crap oh crap. Okay... he needed Mystickers. He'd get some.
He moved in towards the building, trying to calm his breathing and steady his heartbeat. It wasn't easy, that was for certain.

The scene was very similar to that of Blazer Black HQ: mass destruction, but no bodies. The mansion that was sitting on top of the hidden base was in danger of collapsing, and to get to the entrance they had to take a long, roundabout route. Once they got into the base itself, the destruction was much less. Everything that could be destroyed was destroyed, but since it was underground and built of stone, it was less apparent. On their way to the Armory, they moved silently, but this base appeared to empty as well. The Armory was stripped totally clean.

"Good day, Commander," Anatoly replied, nodding. He frowned before continuing. "But not really a good day. I've been deployed regarding the investigation of the devastated building. I'll assume you've the competence to have units on-site already; do you have any reports regarding what happened?"

Hawke nodded gravely. "Yes. The official report is that the destruction resulted from a chemical fire, perhaps due to misuse of Mystickers."

"Oh heavens," Nathan muttered. Well, what about Crash's office? Where had it been? He wasn't sure if he could remember, but... it was worth a shot.
After some exploring he came upon it, half by memory and half by chance. He tried to open the door.

"Mm, yes. It would," Anatoly muttered. He cleared his throat and continued. "That'll do nicely, I suppose. My superiors want me to give a quick overview of the official story as well as any documents you'll be sending upwards later. Nothing special."
