Kirai turned around almost immediately when she touched his scroll. "If you value your fingers, youll let my scroll go." He turned around and gave her a fierce, cold look. His steel grey eyes piercing trhough her like blades. "Ill give you one thing though, you have some guts for trying. What's your name?..." He turned around, motioning for the eye to lower the brightness. HE gave her a look of consideration, looking her features over for a moment.

"I value my hands as much as you value your scroll," she said ,returning his look," My name is Angellea." She stared at him, and noticed a change in his expression. Confused, she tried to read him, to tap into his thoughts, searching for anything that would explain his expression.

"Soundspawn!" Another burst of smoke, and there was an orb floating in the air, which was a mouth entirely. it screeched at an ear splitting level, creating sound which would give everyone a headache. Kirai clenched his teeth, taking in the pain with vigor. "A mnd reader? those dont work on me, and i can do the same to you. I dont recommend trying to read me, Angellea. Ever. My mind is my private place, which mind reader's cant seem to stay away from. If i feel ike telling you what im thinking, expect to hear it immediately. otherwise, dont ask."

Angellea stood there, her ears popping and eyes clenched, "You scream louder than me!" when the sound subsided she opened her eyes, her ears adjusting to the nighttime sounds around them. Her face was twisted into an angry expression. "If you wanted me to know what you were thinking you would make sure it was your most hurtful thoughts, wouldn't you?"

"Smart girl." The mouth disappeared, but the eye remained. glowing softly, like a campfire. The scroll slowly slipped out of Angellea's hand. "Id never reveal my true thoughts unless by will." He sat down on another Tree trunk not too far away from the other one. "So whatre you here in this grand forest for?...Unless youre just a masochist looking for a few scratches and a good time here and there." He closed his eyes, keeping one trained on her as the orb circled overhead slowly, providing light.

She watched him take a seat, very wary. "I just wanted some fresh air. Masochism is not in my range." Thinking perhaps now that things were safe, she sat down, drawing her knees up. "What is that...paper for anyway?"

"For one, this isnt paper. Paper-" Kirai threw a sheet of paper at a tree, and it spiraled about, doing nothing but colliding and falling limply to the ground. "-Doesnt do this-" Kirai's right hand jolted out, and the scroll shot out at a nearly unseen speed and cut the tree in half without another word. The tree waited for a minute before actually confirming that the scroll did anything. Then, it fell over, and collapsed with a loud thump as it hit the ground. " And whats its used for is summoning the demons that I Work with."

"Ok, scroll then. Demons?" she stared at him in disbelief. "What do you need demons for?" Her arms went around her legs, adjusting to the vibrations still left from the fallen tree. She stared at him and the orb above his head.

"I need demons for this. Sunspawn! come unto me!" The demon floating a few inches above his head flew down, and merged with his left hand, disappearing entirely. Kirai's hand began to glow like the demons, and an eye formed on the palm of his hand. He pointed his palm at her, and suddenly a bright beam of light gushed forward like a flashlight from the eye. "I use them, and fuse with them."

She watched, slightly fascinated, slightly confused. Her eyes squinted shut again, and then she reopened them as the eye appeared. "What is it with you and the bright beams of light?? I am gonna leave this forest blind!" She looked at his hand again staring at the eye, "Does it blink?"

"Never. Never yielding." The light began to fade, and the eye disappeared altogether. "So do you have any other abilities? Are you clairvoyant as well? Are you able to control elements, with pyrokinesis like one of my friends can? Or can you only read minds?" Kirai asked with some interest.

She thought about it. Should I tell him the truth? She got more comfortable against the tree. "Well," she responded ,"I read minds, and a few times, reminding people of painful things has gone terribly wrong. I made someone commit suicide." Her eyes turned back to him as she watched the eye in his hand fade away.

Darius knew her all too well.
Lily was sitting at the edge of the gorge, looking down to the sticky mud below, remembering a little more than a year ago when this had been their favorite spot.
Oh they had had many a laugh here no?
Now it was just a sickening reminder of everything she had left, in hopes of finding something that she thought she needed. She had never found it, and now she was back in Ria being accused of being dead.
Dead. Her? No way.
She'd stared death in the eye and walked away alive more than once in her life. In her mind, she was invincible. Now the ones she loved most, Darius and Liz, were telling her she was dead, and then were crying...morning the loss of her. It was all just so ridiculous.

Darius grunted and moaned as he moved through the underbrush of the forest, it seemed to have beccome a little bit more overgrown since he had left, which led to him questioning if there was some kind of magical property to these plants.
He soon saw the opening to where the gorge ran and sure enough, he saw Lily sitting there, staring down at the place where they had goofed arround for so long. He wasn't sure what he should say yet so he mearly observed, seeing what she would do now.

Lily sat there for awhile, getting more and more perturbed that her friends belived she was dead.
In a moment of anger she reached for the rock next to her, planning to hurl it into the mud...but when she tried to pick it up, it slipped through her hand, staying put. She tried again and again, but always recived the same result.
She let out a frustrated cry, making the trees around the gorge shake and rattle a little. Obviously it wasn't good to get a ghost angry.
