Moé hurriedly went over to him and placed a blanket on him, and placed a pillow behind his head. Her fishban finished, she ate the chocolate stick and then went over to him again. She placed his hat on a nearby table, and kissed the top of his head shyly. She looked back at him, and then smiled warmly. "I'm so lucky," she muttered to herself, as she went to go check up on the food again.

Possibly the first time in 20, 30 years, Caleb did not struggle in his sleep as if being attacked by an invisible hate. He slept without any noise of desperation, just the soft sound of snoring exiting the mask.

Moé took out the finished duckmeat buns, and then began to heat up some water for the potstickers. She severely wanted to just sit and stare at his adorability, but then resisted the urge.

Caleb moved to get more comfortable while he slept, his head leaning to the left and the rest of his body went to the right.

Caleb awoke and looked to his student, sound asleep. His rested his head onto the pillow and began to fall asleep again. But couldn't, from the smell of something burning, that was not coming from the fireplace.

Taro grabbed the book from the Jikoku as Meredith tried to bludgeon the strange man. "Yes, I am a tengu; but not just any tengu... what stands before your unworthy eyes is I, Taro: the last son of the reign of Sojobo, Guardian of the Fallen Forest, the Dweller of Hollowed Trees. And you, I presume, are... an idiot?" Taro said harshly. "An idiot that is BLEEDING ALL OVER ME!" He began to wave his broken beer bottle angrily to gesture to his now blood stained clothes.

Jikoku wailed. "I haven't beat a tengu before... I'm only twenty years old, not two hundred." He squinted, and took out a large sword. "No. I must defeat you in combat, since it'll help fill my track record for the dowry of my future wedding."

"I will not fight a child such as you... Unnamed Side Character, not even if you were to bet me your bride and her dowery in exchange for the match." Taro said with all seriousness. "Put away the sword or I swear on my king's grave I will piss in your a**." [O.O]

Jikoku had a sudden streak of confidence. "I wouldn't let you have her even if you did win. Though it's not like she couldn't fight for herself. I won't kill ya, I just wish to obtain my 97th out of 100 victories." Meredith yawned, taking out a decievingly light-looking umbrella. "This is Jikoku Zarathustra, the only son born in the Montblanc family of gods. A demon slayer, and fiance to a princess." "Meredith, you sure know alot. Oh wait, I forgot, it's because you're an old crone."

"A princess, like my beloved Robin?" Taro questioned with surprise as he took a few steps away from the demon slayer. "And it will do you well in the future to remember to respect to those with more years than yourself; that is, if there is a future for you at all."

Meredith gave a cackle. Jikoku looked infuriated. "Oh?" He replaced his sword with a pair of cleaver blades. "Where would you happen to have heard of my little songbird?" Meredith took a couple of steps back. "H-He's a berserker, watch out."

Caleb did not respond, his head hanging slow once again as mind began to drift. Drifting, back to the point that prince had made, it stuck in his head and twisted in his stomach, pushing the bile up his throat and causing sick feeling dwell within himself.
