Thia gave Someria a faint look of bewilderment. "'Giving Veru a haircut'? Why on Earth would he need a haircut?" She seemed more confused than startled.
Rin popped her head out the door. "Yeah, I gave him a trim. Wanna see?"
Clattering could be heard from the room. Veru's voice drifted out. "NO WAY!! She's not coming in here!!"
Rin burst out laughing as she went back in the room to see what veru was doing. "Thia can easily break through a lamp, Veru. It's not that good of a weapon."
"Who needs a weapon? I'm just gonna chuck it at her head as hard as possible!!"
Rin walked out of the room, laughing too hard to breathe right.
Veru stepped outside. He grinned his wolfy grin. "Eh, just kiddin'. I didn't really mess up the room."
Thia looked at Veru, thorough surprise showing on her face. "Wow. Wolfy got an upgrade." She walked over and ruffled Veru's now shorter fur. "Heh. Now you don't look nearly as mangy as you act."
Veru growled. "You wanna start somethin' vamp?"
Thia laughed. "Nah. It takes two to Tango and I hate to dance."

Rin looked sheepish, her ears drooped and her tail bristled slightly. "Actually... We uh... Need Thia's help still...."
Thia turned. "What? Why do you need my help?"
Rin turned toward her. "We need some vampire blood for a potion...."
Thia visibly tensed up. "OH HELL NO!!!"
Veru sighed. "Dunno why I try..." He grabbed Thia and held her in place.
Thia started struggling. "Get off Wolf!! I'm not gonna be drained for an experiment!!!"
Rin grimaced. "Veru, let her go. I gave you the choice of a haircut. I'm giving Thia the choice of donating some blood. I didn't force you and I'm not gonna force her."
Thia smirked triumphantly. "Now let me down, mutt!" Veru let her go, but received a swift punch in the stomach by Thia. "NEVER grab me again." Thia was still angry.

Rin's ears drooped. "Uh... It's more like we need a cup of vampire blood..." She looked at Thia sadly. "This potion we're making is to help Someria. Could you help us, Thia?"
Veru sat on the ground and rubbed his stomach. "Ow..."
Thia glared at him. "Serves you right. Never grab a girl, we get hella defensive." She looked at Rin and sighed. "You and your danmed begging. You're more like a puppy than a fox...." Thia walked into the room. A really loud crash came out of the room less tha a second later. Thia walked back out, carrying a goblet. "This is mine and I want it back." She lifted her wrist to her mouth and bit the vien. She held her wrist over the goblet and listened to the drips of her blood. "By the way, I want a pint of human blood as payment, otherwise any student who, unfortunately, comes too close will be drained." She held the goblet out to Rin and growled. "I'm not joking." She lifted her wrist to her mouth and licked the blood away, healing the wound.

Rin took the goblet while Someria offered Thia the bag of blood. She visibly turned green.
Veru looked absolutely disgusted.
Thia smiled as she took the bag. "Why, thank you. I wasn't quite expecting you to repay me immeadiately." She walked into the room and closed the door, locking it behind her. Veru grimaced, not only at the thought of Thia feeding, but also as he remembered leaving his key on the desk. Either way, he wasn't going into the room anytime soon. He looked at Rin, who was still green. "Not gonna puke, are you?"
Rin swallowed and shuddered. "Now, I'm completely grossed out... Someria? I think we can get ready to make the potion now..." Rin's face turned a pale flesh color, rather than the sickly green.

Rin swallowed and walked toward her room. Veru grimaced as he heard a faint gulping come from his room. He stood up and followed Rin. "Sorry, but I just got locked out. I'm not ready to face the bloodsucker either..." He sounded like he wanted to go throw up.
Rin nodded. "Wasn't exactly easy on my stomach either..." They both turned green for a second and shook their heads. "Ugh!" They were practically mirroring each other's movements.

Thia quickly finished off the bag. She felt the magic that had once been in Someria's veins, mixed with the blood, slide down her throat. She burped lightly, and accidentally shot a bolt of lightning at her desk. It left a large ten pointed star on the surface of the wood. "Cool decoration, bad timing..." She rubbed the wood, and felt the heat come rising off in waves. "Woof! Better not feed for a bit, I might just fry someone with simple sneeze!" She flopped down onto her bed and felt the magic in the blood circulate through her system. "Meh, two days tops. Then it's normalsville for this freak." She sighed and curled up into a ball. Within seconds, she was asleep.

Rin laughed as Someria warned Veru. "Thia's practiced magic before. She has a few voodoo friends in the south."
Veru growled. "Damn witch doctors..." Rin laughed harder. "They're not that bad when they're not trying to shrink your head for their jars."
Veru grimaced. "I know you meant that as a joke, but that's just gross." He turned and nodded at Someria. "I'll just sleep in a closet or something..." Rin shook her head. "No way! I'm not letting a fellow creature sleep in a janitor's closet. I'll lend you the spare bed in my room."
Veru turned and gave her a confused look. "Why?" Rin smirked. "Sleep-over, Furry style!!" Veru grimaced. "I'm a werewolf. Not a furry." Rin snickered. "Well, tonight, you're a wolfy! Like I'm a kitsune!" She patted the top of Veru's head and laughed. "No getting outta this one, Veru!!"
Veru sighed. "Lovely. I'm being shanghaied into being a temp roomie."

Rin nodded and ran down the hall at full kitsune speed toward her room, leaving Veru and Someria in the dust. Veru barked a laugh and started walking toward Rin's room. "Crazy little fox!"
{Grah!! No clue what to do right now....}

Veru got an evil gleam in his eye as he ran to catch up to Someria, threw her onto his shoulder, and chased Rin down. They all stopped in front of Rin's door. Rin looked at Veru in surprise and burst into laughter. "Veru, I think you almost beat me!!"
Veru barked his laugh and put Someria down before she could attack him. "Hehehe. Don't underestimate a werewolf!"
Rin unlocked the door and immediately slid into business mode. Sit on the bed and wait for me to finish." Veru noticed the change and saluted. "Aye, Ma'am!" He sat like a dog on the bed and wagged his tail. "I've never had this much fun with others before."
Rin gave him a surprised look. "Really?"
Veru nodded. "Yeah, I've always been treeated like a monster and people never got near me, I never really had fun with others."
Rin's ear drooped. "That's so sad... I guess we're your friends now though, right?" Her ear perked up a bit as she pulled some mixing bowls and spoons out of her suitcase. "I'm going to start the brew. You two can still talk, just don't fight." She started measuring the listed ingredients and mixing them up. Veru looked at Someria. "I guess, like Rin, you don't know much about me?"
He sighed and ruffled the shorter fur on the back of his head. "I met Thia before I became a half dog. She was creepy. We had a wolf problem and the hunters were getting ready to attack. My dad was one of them. He didn't want me to get hurt so he left me at home with my sister, Thia kept us company. She'd been a few years into being a vamp so she had more control at the time. When my father came back he was covered in blood and he limped over to me and my sister. She screamed and tried to run, but my dad transformed quicker. He'd been bitten on the arm and he bit me and my sister before we could get away. Thia kept him off us and managed to make sure he didn't kill us. After that, my dad moved us around so that we wouldn't hurt anyone. Thia had apoligized for the incident and said she'd try to find help for us. After Thia left, we moved around more and I ran into a witch during one of my calmer days. She didn't like the fact that my family was a pack of wolves... She cursed me so that I'd have to remain like this until... Well, lets just say I'm going to be a mangy wolf for a while longer." He smirked and pat the back of his head. "Now you know the story about the mangy wolf kid! And how I met Thia the bloodsucker!" Veru barked a short laugh and Rin looked over her shoulder and smiled sadly. "What happened to your sister?" Veru stopped laughing. "Eh... Sis looks more like a normal wolf and got cuter as a human. My dad grew a better looking beard too. I'm the only one with a major problem, they seem happy as mutts..." Veru grinned again. "Guess I'm the freak show, eh?"
