after finishing his breakfast, he walked around town, looking for something to do. "man, this place is so dull. i wish something fun would happen."

Jade shook her head. "It's just that I...I can't trust Lazarus. And..." she paused, taking a deep breath to try and steady herself. "And I don't like the thought of being separated. Or of being killed." She closed her eyes, wiping away some of the tears from her cheeks.

Keith took his hand and wiped some of the tears away with his thumb, "Don't worry, it was only a dream. Nothing more." He said reassureingly.

Jade leaned her head down on his shoulder. "Yes. Just a dream," she repeated softly, closing her eyes. She was reassured just by what he said. She felt she could trust him. Whatever happened, he'd be there, and so it was all okay.

He embraced as if afraid she'd fall from his grasp, "only a dream." He said unsure if he beleived himself. He thought back on all the times hunters came after him and how many lives he's took. His arms were rapped around her his hands trembling a little.

Jade felt his hands shaking slightly, but said nothing of it. She knew that he was afraid of things, too, after all, part of him was human, just as part of her was. But she hoped that her arms around him would calm him somewhat because his embrace also calmed her. She sighed. Hopefully Dread wasn't off somewhere waiting for them. She didn't want to think about that either.

Feeling her embrace he calmed down a little but his killing still rented space in his mind. " I think you should know a little about me." He said unsure if he could give his story to her.

Jade leaned back a bit and looked into his eyes. "Okay, if you'd like to tell yourself about me, I'm willing to listen." She had never minded in the past that she didn't know everything about his history, but she wouldn't be bothered by the knowledge of it.

Keith picked her up and sat her on the bed and began his story. "I'm 50 years old, I was born in Colorado. My father was in the military so we moved around alot. When I was 8 years we were living in Japan, my parents were killed in a car accident at that time. Till I was 15 I lived on the streets of Japan till one night a man came up to me. He offered to by me some dinner. I agreed, He took me behind this building and then bit me I soon realized he was a lycan. Ever since then I've been killing almost on impulse." He said lowering his eyes.

Jade touched his face gently. It was indeed a sad story. She sighed, wondering what it would be like to be thrust from living as a human and then be thrust into the life of a bloodthirsty killing machine. She couldn't understand what that was like, but she felt that it must have been terrible. She hugged him again, trying to let her sympathy be portrayed in her embrace.

He embraced her then sat her down on the bed again and sat next to her, "While I was still in Japan I trained myself to better protect myself and kill more silently, I don't enjoy Killing but it's better quietly than drawing attention. I sometimes go into fits of rage and transform, I tell you this so that if I do and you are around take my shotgun and shoot me with one bullet. It won't kill me but it will stop me from going on a rampage. " He said turning his head to her.

Jade's mouth fell open. She couldn't believe what he just asked her to do to him. "I...uh...are you serious!?" She was clearly trying not to freak out about the request, knowing that it would probably be for the best. Having been a lycan all her life, she knew that one plain bullet wouldn't do him much harm. It was the idea of shooting him that bothered her. But, if that's what she had to do...

When Kieth squeezed her hand, Jade relaxed a little. "Alright, alright. I'll do it. Don't worry." She looked into his eyes to show that she was sincere. "I guess I'm just not used to involuntary transformation, you know, being a natural lycan and all..."

He looked back at her, "Slowly I'm gaining control of it but not very fast." He said and waited for a few moments He Gazed into her eyes placing his hand on the side of her face again. He drew close and kissed her, He drew away "Thank you." He kissed her again.
